This episode had it all and delivered on all fronts: the battles the characters faced were well scripted and delivered - From Jeremiah's personal one to Kurdy and Lee in their respective roles. A few scenes stand out to make it more than just good, though. The first is the assassination of the 5th column in Thunder mountain: for once, nothing pathetic, nothing fancy - this was a Valentine's Day Massacre and it should have been. Beautiful end game. And finally, the facing of the standing armies and the parlay that was to ensue were truly wonderful - the three giants which shaped the series walking in the den of the monster to shape the world.
To me, a more than fitting end to the series; farewell, Jeremiah, Kurdy and the rest!moreless

    • Jeremiah: (voiceover) When I was a kid, I remember my dad saying that one man can change the world. At the time he said it, I believed him. Then the years after the Big Death, somewhere along the way, I just stopped believing. Kurdy: (voiceover) If one guy with a bullet could change the world in the school depository in Dallas or in a hotel in Los Angeles or Memphis, how much more could one person with an idea, the right idea, change the world? Smith: (voiceover) Today, this day, the world would change forever. Not because of the clash of armies, not in the currency of bomb blasts or body counts, but through the proper application of the only force that matters. The only power that even God respects. The truth. Edit
    • Jeremiah: I'm gonna go in and have a look. If I don't make it back, tell Kurdy what happened. Voice on radio: What about you? Jeremiah: If I don't make it back it's probably cause I'm dead. Voice on radio: Oh. Edit
