A child grew up after the Big Death, expecting super heroes to come alive and fix everything. We also find out about the secret Markus is keeping.
  • There are very few episodes of any series that can pull off any comic or super-hero related stuff in a serious setting - but this episode pulled it off!

    "Superb"
This is how you correctly pull the heart strings and connect it to serious problems in the past and the hope for the future. The problem is that inserting a comic-based or super-hero based storyline usually looks ridiculous in a "serious" show. However, because Straczinsky knows where he's coming from, he successfully weaved believability (dirty, make-shift costume, "real" problems) into the world of the comic book ("Iron Cave") and amazingly added a touch of genious with the laptop database idea. The show never goes overboard, never drops into farsical state - it's just a hard, dirty look into the mind and the escape from reality, adding a great touch of hope at the end. Excellent episode!moreless

    • The first line of this episode, spoken by Shashona is "Miquè Tah-Goov". The line means "Greetings friends!" and the chalk figure he then draws is to ward off bad things.

    • Jeremiah: (talking to an image of God, a facsimile of Michelangelo's famous "Creation of Adam" painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel) Are you happy? Are you satisfied now? I mean, that's the way it works, isn't it? You set us up. You take someone like him, you give him hope, just so you can take it away again? What did he ever do to you? What did any of us ever do to you? What did the whole fucking world do to you that we deserve all of this? I mean, come on, the locusts and the death of the first-born wasn't good enough for you anymore so now it's the death of the eldest? The death of heroes? You know what? Fuck you. Because we're not just gonna lay down and die down here. You want to finish off the job? Come down here! Do it yourself. You send the Angel of Death, you better give him one hell of a big sword, because I tell you what, we are gonna kick his ass all the way back to the great white fucking throne. And then we're coming for you. We're coming for you.

    • Shashona: Does this buckskin make my ass look fat? Jeremiah: Now that is one fine looking native american ass. Shashona: My ass and I thank you. Jeremiah: You and your ass are welcome.

    • Meghan: You know, I was thinking the other day. It's ironic isn't it. Here, every day, you keep me alive. But if I were to get out I'd only bring you death. Markus: What relationship doesn't have its little ups and downs?

    • Jeremiah (to Markus): So, are you gonna come and see us off, oh great pain in the ass?
