Beyond Jericho is like a separate mini-series to go alongside Jericho.  Episode 1 is now available online.  The acting is absolutely horrible, but the idea of these episodes outside the regular show is pretty interesting.

OK, let's try this one . . . I looked on Innertube, couldn't find Beyond Jericho.

Interesting series.  I talked with my father about it before it started.  I think perhaps the formative episode of my life was the Cuban missle crisis.  I was 8 years old.  I'm 53 now.  I've been waiting for the world to end on and off since.

I live in Wichita, KS which I will bet was hit, as the pretty blonde gal was on her way there when she ran over the flock of crows, who must have been irradiated.  It takes some 10,000 Rads to kill a human instantly, I wonder how many a crow needs?

Yeah, it was interesting.. So the buildings just fell w/o fires or dust or anything? Very bad FX I say!

The woman was so hot, that dude is so strong he could carry her on a ladder several floors up? he must be a fireman or something..

The acting and dialog was so lame and at the end they are worring about a cellphone and not what happened.

Seen it and won't watch another. Completely irrelevant to the series, just a cheap ploy as lame as the blog attached to "Invasion" last year. The townspeople of Jericho are at least human, not cartoon characters.

It seems they have removed Beyond Jericho. I wonder if they will continue with it. If so, it better improve a lot.

I was just looking for it, and yes it's gone. I agree that if they return they need to improve the acting ALOT! There's better acting than that on youtube. Heck, bring in that starwars kid, at least he would be interesting!

They said they would put "clues" in beyond jericho. did you see the guys hand at the end? It couldn't be his buddy, he was at the end of the pipe, but the hand had a rubber glove on it. Could that be a reference to the "Super Virus" theory going around?

    Hmmmmmm...

Don't think I'll bother after the Doctor Who TARDISodes and the BSG Resistance Webisodes - these things really seem to be dire.

What a hilarious picture! A sarcastic girl in stelleto heels and a brutal buffoon, together scrambling over rubble after the Apocalypse!  How long will that last before the vomiting begins, and all the other symptoms of radioactive poisoning that will assuredly kill them long before they can walk the distance to Mayberry, er, I mean Jericho.  If this was a real grade D movie, they would realize that they were left alive to repopulate the earth, so they'd soon be making babies like bunnies to replenish the earth.

Yeah I was expecting something better. I think they should just spend the money on the show and not waste time with the mini production. It is just going to drain there resources. Jericho though is top notch!

I'd found it, but that was before the second episode aired. I haven't been able to find 'Beyond Jericho' since the second episode aired...

I had the impression in the first 'Beyond Jericho' that NYC had been attacked... but it could have been any city (i didn't have the sound on when I'd watched that ... clip)...

So what did happen to the Beyond Jericho episodes? I went expecting another and it wasn't there. The first one was there a few days more, but even it vanished. Searching only turns up Beyond Survivor.

And I think that "city" was Las Vegas. The girl looked like someone who was attached to some loan shark or something in LV, but then ratted on him so he sent his thugs out to deal with her.

It was cheesy and not well received. I think they should concentrate all efforts on Jericho itself at least until Season 2. Diluting the product is not a good move at this point.

I saw it right after watching the pilot...asked if anyone else had seen it. This is probably a dead thread now.

From what I've read, "Beyond Jericho" died not of poor production, but of something even worse: Greed! It seems as though one of those Hollywood Guilds (I think it's the WGA, but you can check the Wikipedia article on Jericho if you really want to know) is up in arms thinking that if people are watching a three minute short on the web, then someone's not getting paid. This is why you have to live in the US to access American made webisodes. NBC is striking back, saying current contracts cover webisodes (I mean, if someone agreed that only US viewers can watch them, then someone has to be getting paid), but it's quite obvious that the WGA is only concerned about one thing and that's money.

I mean, yeah, the one webisode we saw was lacking, but I'm sure the three people they had acting where elated at being able to take home a paycheck and not going to work at whatever hellhole they have to work at to make ends meet waiting for their big break. And now another stupid guild has decided to take that opportunity away from them over how much they get paid.

Battlestar Galactica is having problems with the webisodes as well.

Yep the Writers Guild is causing problems, I understand it may even end up in court and it is not just this one but it relates to other Networks as well.  So CBS just pulled all their stuff until it gets worked out.  You might see it back once they all come to some kind of agreement.

I've heard it was bad, but I want to see it regardless. Was hoping it would pop back up with the introduction of the new webisodes.
