    Operation Phoenix/Comic Book Update

    December 15, 2010

    Hello Fellow Rangers:

I know many are anxious to get out there to promote the comic especially since we finally have the name of a publisher and a month certain for the release.

Right now we need to calm down and enjoy the holidays. The reality of the matter is Hollywood and everything associated with it shuts down for the month of December. We have not heard back from our contact at IDW since the initial press release.

I heard back from Dan the end of last week that IDW will be putting up a Forum Board similar to the one at DDP.

Right now we need to wait until they contact us. The fact of the matter is that all of us have done more than enough to save the show and promote the comic. IDW is a very large publisher and they should take the lead on promoting the Jericho comic which we can supplement.

I know it is frustrating and many here and elsewhere in the fandom want to take action and do something. But without knowing where the comic is going or what CBS, Junction and IDW are thinking we will just be chasing our tails. I have heard that several groups of Rangers have gotten together to come up with ways to promote the comic and that is great, we need to be ready when IDW approaches us but right now we need to sit back and wait.

No matter how much we want to get things moving, they will not move until the CBS and Junction timetable dictates.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all Rangers.

    Keep the Faith
