    Operation Phoenix/Comic Book Update

    September 28, 2010

    Hello Fellow Rangers:

I hope you are all enjoying the start of Fall and that all of you and your families are doing ok in this upside-down economy.

Last week, I sent Dan Shotz an email, in which I let him know that the continued lack of information regarding the comic, would cause more people to question weather or not Jericho will continue. I had contemplated asking for my money back. I, like many, have grown very frustrated with the mixed signals, regarding Devils Due Publishing's continued involvement in the Comic and notes from DDP, that something was forthcoming from CBS and to hang on.

I let them know that the Fans, many of whom prepaid for large subscriptions, have been more than patient with DDP, Junction and CBS. Dan Shotz immediately responded and he spoke with Ratkeeper on Wednesday of last week. Dan was very upbeat and positive and said something will be announced very soon and he hinted at something more than just the comic. Dan also reached out to another one of the Fans, Lee, who posts on the UHD Board, independent of ratkeeper, and was similarly optimistic with him.

I know we are all frustrated, angry and at this point very skeptical at anything coming from CBS, Junction or DDP. All I can say is that Dan Shotz has been up front with us since the beginning. He has fought to continue the Jericho story and got the Comic to be a reality when most left Jericho for dead.

I for one trust in him and will give him a few more weeks to get back to us. This is a business, with many moving parts at CBS, and that coupled with DDP and Junction makes it a complicated matter to say the least.

I believe that we are going to get the rest of the comics and the paper back in the near future. And then who knows where that may lead.

    Keep the Faith
