CBS needs their heads examined. Jericho is one of the best shows on in resent TV history. Ten times better then the current reality type shows.

You obviously haven't seen Stargate or Battlestar Galactica.

thats what is says on the scifi website, so its not looking good for season 3

Not really. It says that the finale "doesn't preclude the possibility of Jericho's finding a second life on cable, though the economics of the production will likely prevent a continuation of the show." It then says that "Fans wishing to write SCI FI Channel about picking Jericho up should… send snail mail".

Just finished watching the 2nd and hopefully not the last season of Jericho. Gotta say that i was most impressed how good these 7 episodes were. Cant understand why CBS cancelled this show due to "ratings", i dont live in the US but i cant imagen that the Us people prefers Reality Shows rather than quality TV besides reality shows are sooo yesterday. Either those "rating machines" are in the wrong places or the mayor part of the Us people have a strange taste in tv watching.

I Loved This Show..it has been difficult to find a show with a great story line to follow. Seems all these 'reality shows' are what the TV execs think we want! I don't watch that crap, never have, never will. I will miss not seeing JERICHO every week. Poor decision CBS, another blunder by your decision makers! Can we all say 'Katie Couric'.

    Hi,

I only watched 3 shows on CBS - NCIS, Jericho, and the Unt. 2 out of 3 are canceled. Even I agree that the Unit was "iffy". But I don't believe that my taste for tv shows is all in my mouth. Les Moonves at CBS has killed off more than 1 sci fi show. Remeber War of the Worlds back in the late 1980's ? anyone have other memories ?

Really? Humor is by definition when the punch line is unexpected/ironic, which is why jokes are not too funny when you see the punch line coming.

I gave somebody access to the site a while back but nothing has happened on it yet. I don't have time to run it. But I could at least buy the name and provide hosting for it. If somebody wants to develope it let me know. Best to send me email floyd at newwebsite.com

Say it isn't so, it seems like the powers that be that run T.V. seem to want to mess up real enjoyment. I am scared to watch any show anymore for fear next week it will be dead. Why is this happening? Can people really afford to go to the movies? I miss series that stayed on for years. I am sooooo sad!

Jericho the best show in a long long time, to cancel it leads me to suspect one thing. CBS has adopted a counting system unknown to the rest of us where good shows are seen as bad by the confused CBS Executives.

First Threshold then Jericho, CBS really has no tolerance for shows that aren't CSI type stuff.

You all got to be realistic here. Networks are tightening up their budgets because the economy is sluggish and TV ratings haven't recovered the WGA strike.

While I am a fan of the show, Jericho's producers need decent budget to produce quality episodes and I don't think anyone wants to shell out millions of dollars for a show that gets low ratings and probably won't make it's money back. It would be financially irresponsible to due that. Hell, Moonlight costed roughly $2.5M per episode and that was considered cheap and got higher ratings than Jericho, but got cancelled.
