In the beginning, when American Idol had 12 finalists, Jimmy Kimmel wrote down a name of one of the finalists that he thought would be the winner and put it in an envelope which was covered with bacon and frozen in a block of ice. Tonight, he had a man from the audience smash the block of ice and open the envelope and read the name of the person Jimmy wrote down. That name was Bucky Covington. The real winner of this year's Amercican Idol was Taylor Hicks.
