The last Todd Glass segment, in which he totally ripped at the entire world, was the most wacked-out thing I had ever seen on late night TV. When I saw it, I first thought they were trying to be funny, and eventually Todd or Jimmy would say "gotcha!" and everybody would laugh - but nope. Everybody either had a disgusted or shocked look on their face.
I think Todd was high or drunk and took what was supposed to be a funny bit and crossed the line completely. The look on everyone's face said it all. I'm surprised they even aired the entire segment, and even more surprised when, after he stormed off the stage at the end of his song, he was back on the hotseat and everything was okay again. Todd may have just committed career suicide.
It ruined an otherwise good show with Kevin Nealon and the always entertaining Ryan Reynolds.moreless
