    Has there ever been serious talk of starting a book series on the tv show. I am sure a series based on what the third season could have been would be pretty good.

    They should do that. If they can't do the TV series then do it through a book series. That would be a great idea. I know I'd be buyin' them!

    well i'm a writer and in addition to my more "professional" stuff i have written fanfic, just for fun. i've written quantum leap and ql crossover so far. if someone could get me a bible for joan, i would try my hand at it. i watched every episode but too much time has passed so i'd need that bible. funny calling it that considering what the show was about, but you know what i mean, right?

    Definatly! I sort of forget how it ended, I seem to recall something about the devil in the form of that guy. I would love to know where that storyline was heading!

    It wasn really the devil. It was tht Ryan hunter guy(how wentworth miller could be evil is beyond me. Hes too hot.) and how he knew tht God talks to Joan cuz he was a "joan" when he was a kid. And Joan n him were supposed to have a "battle". They should have books about how she beats him. Good wins. They have to books rite? Theyll make em soon i hope.

    Shakespeare said (and he knew whereof he spoke):  "A man may smile and smile and be a villain."  Of COURSE they chose someone hot to be "the Devil."  Can't be obvious, now, can we?

    Meanwhile, whoever wants me to write some fan fiction, I need some kind of bible (again, no pun intended) for the show because although I saw all the episodes it's been some time and I could easily forget an important point.

    Didn't Barbara Hall say at some point when she wasn't as busy as she is at the moment she woud write a book to finish the series?

    I know the answer is probably no, but I know that for the series Tru Calling that was on Fox about the same time, one of the writers published some entries in her livejournal about what would have happend. Has anyone ever heard of anything like that happening for Joan? I just hate how series die off without finalies. =(

    Barbra is working on Demon right now... it's about exorcism... maybe after that she'll make a book.

    I 100% support the idea of Joan of Arcadia books. That would get my money. We should aim for that.

    a bible ? what does that mean? as in the transcripts of the show? or the kind of overall plot for the show? or the series of the show? im sorry; but i'm a tad confused over your repeated statement

    A "bible" pretty much means a review of who was who and what happened in the show in a nutshell.
    I would definitely buy books of Joan of Arcadia- I want to know what was going to happen.
