Just watched the Pilot Episode in the UK on E4
looks very good
any other UK viewers watch it?
its on 6.50am and 11am on E4 and is on 8.50 and 12pm on E4+1every Friday

I loved this is show when I was in America, but I only got to see a few episodes of it. Unfortunately, it's on at a really inconvienient time here, as I have college. It's a fantastic show though.

just found out its on every week day!
so im just gonna watch it on my days off of college [now im in my last year we only do 3 days a week ]

The show is so far getting a bit repetitive. The storyline seems to be:
1. God asks Joan to do something which she eventually does after moaning for a bit.
2. The chief has a regular run in with the bent DA.
3. Kevin the wheelchair guy makes some sarcastic comment about his wheelchair and treats people who are sympathetic to him like crap.
4. Luke does his science stuff.
5. And the mother just nags the kids from time to time.

I've seen a few episodes a while ago (late night on Living), but I can't watch it during the week as I have school, I always catch the start but have to leave for school. Hopefully they'll start airing it a bit later in the day or at the weekend or something...

i like the whole God/Joan school thing and her mates and her science brother [luke]
but i dont like/see the point of the whole dad cop thing boooorrrring. oh and id hate to have Joans mum she is annoying!
dont like the other brother he cheated on his sort of girlfriend and hes sarcastic and whiny all the time

These messages are kindof old but what the heck. Also a UK fan of this show, I just started watching yesterday, Gilmore Girls is now over for me so I need a new show. Only seen 2 episodes so far: Double Dutch and No Bad Guy. I agree about the show neing repetive, but I enjoy it, I really like the atmosphere of the show and it's not cheesey. Does anyone know if the school scenes are set at a real school or just an elaborate set? I like the school/god storylines with Joan and I like her friends and 2 brothes. I agree with purplepansy that the dad/cop storylines are dull, it was a whole subplot on todays ep and I didn't follow a word of it and the mother is also, I don't think the two are strong enough to carry 'half' a show. I'm also at college so will only be able to see one more episode tomorrow. (I'm not sure if there are ominbuses on the weekend) (Wahoo first post on this forum of 2009!)

The second season is a lot stronger, it deviates somewhat from the repetitive plotlines.
