Never understood why CBS cancelled it.   It was one of those very rare shows everyone in my family enjoyed watching together.

I cannot believe Jericho pulled a stunt like that and JoA didn't JoA was way, way, way better then Jericho could ever be, yet, this show couldn't convince CBS to stay. It's an outrage. I hate to see pictures of the show on the web, to watch an episode, or even listen to the music with the knowlegde the story never got finished.

I hope I am doing this right, my first post....
Well I know it stinks, that they canceled it. but with Dead Like Me it was the same the canceled it in 2004 but the fans kept complaining and stuff, that they did not finish the story, and now the series gets a movie and maybe even another season. Well the movie is for sure the season depending on the success of the movie...
So maybe there is a tiny chance, that WE FANS of Joan could still do something, or is this too much wishful thinking?!?

i want it back !! sooooooooo bad .. ive watched the first two seasons over and over .. i miss it so much! .. i would do anything to make them put it back on air.. well not anything, but alot of things.. i was wondering, what is the minimum amount of interest to make them get back into producing one or more seasons, books, or a movie even??
if anyone know the minimum.. maybe we can exceed that ! and get it back

I have watched almost no prime time series since they canceled "Joan of Arcadia". It's partly because I have no interest in what has been on since then and because I don't want to get into a new series and have the rug pulled out from under it after one or two seasons.

I live in Australia, and I only just got into the show.
I watched the first episode on youtube, it was great.
I plan to buy the DVDs, I like it that much.

But I hope they tie up loose ends, season two hasn't finished in australia because we're slow .

it probably won't come back but it would be really great if they did!! they left us in the lurch at the end of the season and it would be nice to see a resolution to that storyline!!!!

It's great to see that so many people agree with me that it was a great show! I thought it was just getting more and more interesting and then they pull the plug. How can the general public actually watch that crap JLH is starring in when it's been done so many times before and failed.

They left so much unresolved and were just starting to develop some really great stories with several of the characters! I would love love to see them bring it back, or do a movie to resolve everything! Maybe if they see that people are still passionate after all this time, they'll give us something! I'd even take a book...I have a good imagination!

On the 2nd season DVD, listening to the director/writer commentaries it was clear that they were intending on a 3rd season. It's so sad to listen to them talking about what directions the characters were going to go. Too bad CBS made such a bad decision to cancel it.

    I agree

they should have continued Joan of Arcadia, i've only just found the program and then to find that it'd been cancelled. real shame i was just getting into it as-well.

I really liked this show when it used to come on. It displayed Jesus and God in a possitive light... which is hard to find in primetime television these days.

Although it did get a little strange near the end of it's run.

Joan of Arcadia is back on Scifi! Not any new episodes, but it is replaying all the seasons!!!! I'm soo excited. It was one of the only shows my mom, sister, and I loved and watched it all the time. We are soo excited that it's on Scifi, so we're watching it all over again.

Oops - I should have read your post before I started another thread: "Joan is on SciFi".

Sorry for the redundancy. I just discovered it this evening.

i was the same!! what is wrong with the US? JOA was great...it had a charming quality and deserved another season at least...there was so much unfinished business and to end the way it did...GUTTED!!!
