Joey joins Michael's book club to meet pretty women. Michael is president of the book club, in which had a rule to not date anybody in book club, but then changed it to be able to date people in book club. Michael is crazy about a girl in the book club, who's is only interested in Joey. Looking to get her work noticed, Gina bargains with Alex.
  • A lot like Friends.

    7.5
This episode finally brings Joey to acting the way e would on Friends, being the guy who all the girls want. It brought back good memories, and was a good episode in itself. Up till now, I thought it would be impossibe for Micheal, being the nerd he is, to like any girl, and yet I was proven wrong. SHows some development in him right there, but still not nearly enough to make hime funny. All in all, the episode was exceptional, except that it was far too predictable. For example, if you've watched Joey on this show or Friends before, you'd have to be an idiot to think that he would really read the book, let alone a couple of pages. However, though the story seemed to have already been done, maybe on Friends, it's still fun to watch.

Joey: Well, I motion you suspend it on account of me being the sole payer of rent of the whole book club's headquarters.
Michael: I second the motion. The motion's passed. I motion for a presidential exemption to the "no dating" rule.

Bobbie: Ohhh... absolutely! (she's being sarcastic) Hay! Halle Berry? My client has a sister who's a barber. Could she do your hair for the Oscars?
      Joey: What did she say?

    • Bobbie: Joey, I'm not here to do your personal favors. Let me explain how this agent thing works. First you become famous and then I'll kiss your ass!

    • Bobbie: So, Michael, how do you feel about full-frontal nudity?
      Michael: I'm not an actor.
      Bobbie: Ooooh yes! I know!
