The last few episoides of Joey weren't good but this episoide was really amusing, for once, Joey wasn't as good with the ladies as he thought, i really like the story-line of the neighbour being easy-going and the fact that she didn't like all the fuss about dating and she didn't like actors , it was funny when she ask him out not the other way around. i like the fact that Joey still going out with her, i actually thought he was going ruin it when back-up girlfriend came but i really didn't see that she would of been fine but what goes around comes around and Joey going have to deal with it. This is one most intresting situations joey has got himself into. i'm constantly amazed the amount female trouble he gets himself into.

Alex, we have been waiting all season for Alex and her husband to break-up, it was quite obvious i mean he always on business so how can there marriage work, it needs to be strong and amount of times he was away still if it wasn't for Joey & Gina telling Alex to get stuff off her chest it wouldn't of happend. i felt bad so i am actually looking forward to next week episoide to see what happends.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Joey says that he will do something he has never done before. While he is dating Sara he will not see any other women. However, Rachel said on Friends that Joey had really changed, and the whole week they were going out he didn't date anyone else.

    • Joey's date with Sara in this episode is VERY comparable to his date with Rachel in the season 8 episode of Friends, "TOW Joey Dates Rachel". The exact same "moves" are used.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Joey: Hey, Michael. Look, its Sara out there reading. Ah well, every diamond has it's flaws.

    • Joey: I really do. In fact, I like her so much, I'm gonna do something that I've never done before. I am not gonna date any other women until I see Sara again.
Michael: You're going out with her tomorrow. That's like, twenty-four hours.
Joey: I know. That's three very disappointed ladies. …

    • Sara: Hey. I just wanted to stop by and thank you for all the Philly cheese steaks you sent over. I think 30 sandwiches is gonna last me a while.
Joey: I know it sounds like a lot, but cheese steak is a very versatile snack. Lunch on the go? Cheese steak. Tired after racquetball? Cheese steak. Can't find a baby gift? Cheese steak.
Sara: Well, I really appreciate it.
Joey: Hey, neighbor across the way, does something nice for you, you wanna say thank you…
Joey & Sara: (in unison) Cheese steak!

    • Joey: trust me, it'll help. When I first moved in, I had a big problem with Michael's snoring. But then we talked about it, and it got better.
Michael: Talked about it? You put cotton balls in my nose and duck taped my mouth shut.
Joey: And we worked it out.

    • Gina: Hey. How is it having Eric back?
      Alex: Oh, it's great! It's good. It's a challenge. It's hard.

    • Joey: Whoa, sexy new underwear there, huh?
      Alex: You can tell?
Joey: When I was a kid, I wished for a super power. That's what I got. So what's the special occasion?

    • Joey: Wait, wait, wait. I didn't even compliment your eyes.
Sara: I know. My father must have been a thief because he stole two stars from the sky and put them in my eyes.
Joey: I did not know that one. That's good.

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • When Alex is telling how her husband answered her crossword for her by revealing that it was Ally McBeal, Alex says that she herself is a spunky lawyer and she knows who Ally McBeal is. Later he says that she missed an easy one, pointing out that it was the Sesame Street character Cookie Monster.

Ally McBeal is the story of a young lawyer (Calista Flockhart) and her life, loves, and job. It was on from 1997 to 2002 and focused on the personal lives of the characters, often filtering the story through the legal proceedings on the show. Ally McBeal was indeed a spunky blonde lawyer, much like Alex.

Sesame Street is a hit children's TV show that combines entertainment with education. It has been on since 1969 and is the longest running children's show in American history. Its characters are muppets created by Jim Henson, one of which is Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster is the large blue muppet with a passion for cookies. Though cookies are his favorite, he is often seen eating just about anything.

    • When Joey is trying to cover up his photo, he says that he ate the 96 oz. steak, as did Bernadette Peters.

She is considered one of the most well known Broadway stars and has won 2 Tony awards. She has done many cast albums, several of which were Grammy nominated, and 6 solo albums.

    • When Joey is trying to silence the maitre'd he says that he also enjoyed The Apprentice.

The Apprentice is a hit reality show in which contestants compete for the right to be Donald Trump's apprentice with a salary of $250,000. It has been on since 2004 and has spawned many licensed international spin offs and imitations as well. The show is now running a Celebrity Apprentice version.

    • Joey says that part of his moves is having one of his famous 'friends' send over a bottle of wine, like Bobby Duvall or perhaps Celine Dion (Alex's favorite singer). In the end he said that Alan Thicke and Lou Diamond Philips sent the wine. Later Sara turns the gag around on Joey and offers him some wine compliments of Vanilla Ice and Tom Skeritt.

Bobby Duvall refers to Robert Duvall; an Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winning actor. He has been in numerous films; among the most famous being To Kill a Mockingbird, 2 Godfather films, Apocalypse Now, and The Apostle for which he won the Best Actor Oscar.

Alan Thicke is a Canadian actor, song writer, and host best known for his role in the hit sitcom Growing Pains.

Lou Diamond Philips is an actor best known for his roles in La Bamba and the Young Guns movies. He has been in many other TV shows and movies as well.

Vanilla Ice is a rapper best known for his smash hit Ice Ice Baby. He has done other albums but never quite captured the success he had with his first album.

Tom Skerritt is an Emmy winning actor who has done extensive film an television work. He has been in more than 40 movies and over 200 television episodes; including the films Alien and Steel Magnolias and the TV shows Gunsmoke and Brothers & Sisters.
