    • Bobbie says they are doing a movie about the history of Mowtown, and then mentions Aretha Franklin.

Motown Records was the first major record label to be owned by and primarily feature black artists. It was most known for its R&B and soul music with distinct pop influence, which became known as The Motown Sound. It was founded in 1959, but never featured Aretha Franklin as one of its artists.

Aretha Franklin is a legendary singer also known as the Queen of Soul. She is the most honored Grammy winner of all time, with 20 wins. She has had 20 number 1 R&B hits, 2 number one Hot 100 hits, and 45 top 40 hits in her career. She is best known for such songs as I Knew You Were Waiting For Me and Chain of Fools, though R.E.S.P.E.C.T. is considered her signature song.
