Johnny and the Sprites

Season 3 Episode 8

A Johnny for Everyone / Lily and the Frog Princess

Aired Saturday 7:30 AM Mar 08, 2008 on Disney Channel

  • Trivia

    • The premise of "A Johnny for Everyone" is similar to the very first episode of the short segments, "Who's on First?", in which Ginger wanted to play baseball with Johnny, but Basil wanted to read a book with him.

    • In a repeat of a previous feature, Johnny and Basil host a game of "Basil Says" during the closing credits.

  • Quotes

    • Princess Francesca: (singing) Oh, I wanna be me / I wanna be me / I wanna be meee.
Lily: Francesca, do you wanna be a frog again?

    • Princess Francesca: If this is what a princess is, I wanna be a frog again. (singing) Don't need a crown / Don't want a gown / Can't use all of this stuff / Beauty and grace may have their place / But I have had enough.

    • Princess Francesca: So what else do princesses do?
Lily: Well, they go off with a prince and they live happily ever after.
      Johnny: The end.

    • Princess Francesca: You know, princesses have awfully short tongues. How do they catch flies?

    • Johnny: Y-You're Francesca the frog?
Princess Francesca: Francesca the used-to-be-a-frog. Now I'm a princess. Just like in your story. I'm a frog who's changed.

    • Lily: Real princesses do not croak like frogs and they walk gracefully.

    • Lily: Toad and newt and polliwog, make a princess of this frog.

    • Lily: Bye, Johnny!
      Johnny: Bye, guys.
Lily and Ginger: Bye. (The two disapparate.)
Johnny: Oh? What? I can never get used to that.

    • Lily: (regarding the story of "The Frog Prince") You know what? I think I will tell the story to my pet frog, Francesca. She will love it.

    • Johnny: You know, sometimes it can be hard to wait for something you really, really, really want to do. But if the Sprites can learn to take turns, I know you can too.

    • Basil: Eenie, meenie, minie, moe, catch a fuzzy by the toe.

    • Ginger: Everyone can't go first, so I'll go first.

    • Sage: Before I fix this whole thing, you three need to learn how to take turns with one Johnny.

    • Ginger: I never thought I'd say this, but I don't think I wanna play cloverball that much.
Basil: Yeah. Turning one Johnny into three was not one of our better ideas.

    • Basil: Lily, Ginger, it's terrible! My Johnny won't let me stop gardening! Pulling weeds, planting seeds. Pulling weeds, planting seeds. Pulling weeds, planting seeds. I'm so tired. (moans)

    • Johnnies: (singing) All I wanna do is play.
      Seymour: 2, 3 Johnnies?

    • Johnnies: (singing) Play with me, play with me, play with me all day / Play with me, play with me / All I wanna do is play!

    • Basil: Come on, Johnny. Let's go gardening!
Johnny #3: You bet! Gardening is my life.
Seymour: Johnny! Johnny? Oh, he's never around when you need him.

    • Basil, Ginger and Lily: Tuba-ruba-tuba-tee, make one Johnny into three!

    • Johnny: I'm only one person. I can't split myself up into three Johnnies. I think you Sprites are going to have to learn how to take turns.
