    JOHNNY (from Johnny and the Sprites) is actually John Tartaglia and was the voice of "Ernie" on Play With Me Seaseame. yeah that was random.

    Yep, that's him. Also currently of Broadway fame as Beauty and the Beast's Lumiere and as seen on the not-appropriate-for-your-kids Avenue Q.

    I met him after a performance of Q and kinda knew him before he made his claim to fame with Q. You see, when I was in elementary school, John was taking time off from Sesame Street and volunteered to do the puppetry for Audrey II for a production of Little Shop of Horrors. But he didn't do the voice, someone else lip synching to John's puppetry was doing the voice.
