The Clueless Kid is a parody of the Karate Kid movies series, which started in 1984 with The Karate Kid, directed by John G. Avildsen and starring Ralph Macchio and Noriyuki "Pat" Morita. The movie had three sequels: The Karate Kid, Part II (in 1986), The Karate Kid, Part III (in 1989), and The Next Karate Kid (in 1994).
