- In I Dream of Johnny, the Arab salesman that sells Johnny the toaster with a genie inside originally asked for 20 rizzutos (and Johnny will end up paying 100). A rizzuto is not the correct currency in Saudi Arabia (the riyal is). The term "rizzuto" might be a reference to the Rizzuto crime family, the leading Mafia organization in Canada.

- In One Angry Bravo, Johnny shows his fellow juries some "sexy" drawings he made of the culprit. His drawing skills don't seem to have gotten too much better since the episode The Unsinkable Johnny Bravo where he tried drawing a portrait of Sheila (the girl he had a crush on in that episode) and it ended up looking only like a stick figure, much as the drawings he made this time.

- During One Angry Bravo, sitting next to Johnny in the jury box you can see Sister Sarah, from the previous episode called A Fool for Sister Sarah. However, at the end of that episode, Sarah mentioned she is going to shave her head and join a rock band. Apparently she has not, since here she looks the same as she did in her previous appearance. Also, the young man who states he can't take it anymore and jumps out the window looks like a slightly older version of one of the spoiled rich kids that taunted Johnny back in the episode Prep School Johnny. - The episode One Angry Bravo is a parody of the 1957 movie 12 Angry Men, directed by Sidney Lumet. In the movie, a jury member tries to persuade the other 11 members to acquit the suspect on trial on the basis of reasonable doubt. Edit
- In the episode Carnival Of The Darned, the carnies chant "One of us! One of us! One of us!". This line is a reference to the 1932 horror movie Freaks, directed by Tod Browning. In this movie, a young carnival worker (who is also a midget) marries a tight-rope walker.
