  • QUOTES (4)

  • NOTES (1)

    • Johnny Bravo originally appeared in two animated shorts created for Cartoon Network's World Premiere Toons block, and was the second animated short to receive his own series, after Dexter's Laboratory.

    • "Escape to the Blue Lagoon":

In the Jungle Boy episode, King Raymond is seen watching TV. The movie he sees a commercial for is "Escape to the Blue Lagoon", and is apparently a parody of the two movies The Blue Lagoon (1980, directed by Randal Kleiser), and its sequel, Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991, directed by William A. Graham).

Brooke Shields (who starred in the 1980 movie) is also mentioned as being casted along Jungle Boy in this parody.

    • Bart Simpson:

While the gorilla is mocking Johnny and impersonates him, for a moment he also impersonates Bart Simpson, a famous character from The Simpsons animated series.
