Johnny: How'd you know?
Carl: I saw the ship in the park. I explored it and everything.
Johnny: Listen, weed. There's this angry mob, right?
Carl: You know, I've always wanted to meet a highly developed alien. (to the alien, making hand gestures) Live long and prosper. Na-Nu Na-Nu. Shazbot. Klaatu Barada Nikto.
(Johnny grabs him and throws him into a dumpster, then handshakes with the alien)
Alien: Thank you.
Johnny: My pleasure.

Science-fiction movie allusions:

When Carl first encounters the alien from the segment Alien Confidential, he greets him by using various lines from various science-fiction films throughout the years:

Live long an Prosper is the so-called Vulcan Salute, made famous by Mr. Spock (played by Leonard Nimoy) on the original Star Trek television series in the late 1960s.

Both Na-Nu Na-Nu and Shazbot are references to the Mork & Mindy television show (1978-1982), starring Robin Williams. While Na-Nu Na-Nu was a greeting (in fact parody of the aforementioned Live long and Prosper), the term Shazbot was actually a profanity Mork used on the show.

Klaatu Barada Nikto is a phrase originating from the 1951 science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still, and also used in its 2008 re-make, starring Keanu Reeves.
