    9.0
Panic in Jerky Town: Johnny gets the chance of a lifetime when he gets a tour of Jerky Town in a very memorable spoof of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. 9/10

Alien Confidential: Johnny meets an alien lifeform who wants to show the world the secret of world peace, but backfires due to Johnny's stupidity. Really awesome due to it's ET references. 10/10

    • Carl: Hi Johnny.
Johnny: Carl, you got to help us. (holds up the alien) This is...
Carl: I know, a highly-advanced alien come to bring us a message of universal peace.
      Johnny: How'd you know?
Carl: I saw the ship in the park. I explored it and everything.
Johnny: Listen, weed. There's this angry mob, right?
Carl: You know, I've always wanted to meet a highly developed alien. (to the alien, making hand gestures) Live long and prosper. Na-Nu Na-Nu. Shazbot. Klaatu Barada Nikto.

    • Alien: Oh, I've had it! This planet stinks!
Johnny: Hold on, what about you plan to give us space candy and money.
Alien: It was universal peace, and you can't have any! I'm going back to my planet and telling everyone that your planet is stupid, and they'll probably blow you up, and I'll just laugh and laugh and laugh.
Johnny: Oh, yeah? Well, your brains outside your head.
(Alien rides spaceship to the sky, and Carl walks in)
      Carl: Hey! Where's he going?
Johnny: He's going back to his planet. He says he hates you.

    • Bunny: You don't look well dear.
Alien: (Talking about Johnny) That's because of this carbon-based nitwit.

    • Johnny: Hey, get a load of me! I'm a cooky space man! Set phasers on wiggy.

    • Pops: Eh, nonsense, I just came from Jake's secret ingredient machine. Turns out, ingredient X is vitamin enriched soy cake.
Johnny: Soy cake? But that means that Jerky Jake's Jerky is health food! It's health foods I tells ya! It's a mad house! A mad house!

    • Johnny: (Dancing) I'm gonna be king of jerky town! Huh! I'm gonna be king of jerky town! Huh!

    • Johnny: Some people look at jerky and say "Why?" I look at jerky and say "Mmm, jerky".

    • Johnny: I won! I won! Oh happy day!
Pops: Fall on you head again Johnny?
Johnny: Well, yeah, but that's not why I'm happy.

    • (Johnny and the alien are riding a bike, and they drive off a ramp over a canyon)
      Johnny
: Quick, use your magic powers to lift us!
Alien: I don't have any magic powers.
      Johnny: Bummer.
(Their silhouettes can be seen in front of the full moon, as they end up crashing into a tree).

Johnny's idea of the alien making their bike fly is an allusion to the 1982 science-fiction film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, produced and directed by Steven Spielberg. In the movie's climax, the titular alien uses telekinesis to levitate the bike Elliot (the human that befriends him, played by Henry Thomas) and him were riding on, trying to escape the authorities that were chasing them - which was also parodied in this episode of Johnny Bravo.

    • Science-fiction movie allusions:

      Carl
: You know, I've always wanted to meet a highly developed alien. (to the alien, making hand gestures) Live long and prosper. Na-Nu Na-Nu. Shazbot. Klaatu Barada Nikto.

When Carl first encounters the alien from the segment Alien Confidential, he greets him by using various lines from various science-fiction films throughout the years:

Live long an Prosper is the so-called Vulcan Salute, made famous by Mr. Spock (played by Leonard Nimoy) on the original Star Trek television series in the late 1960s.

Both Na-Nu Na-Nu and Shazbot are references to the Mork & Mindy television show (1978-1982), starring Robin Williams. While Na-Nu Na-Nu was a greeting (in fact parody of the aforementioned Live long and Prosper), the term Shazbot was actually a profanity Mork used on the show.

Klaatu Barada Nikto is a phrase originating from the 1951 science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still, and also used in its 2008 re-make, starring Keanu Reeves.

    • Planet of the Apes:

      Johnny: It's a madhouse. A madhouse!

This quote, used by Johnny in Panic in Jerky Town, is from the 1968 science-fiction movie Planet of the Apes, directed by Franklin J. Schaffner and starring Charlton Heston.

    • Alien Confidential: - Title and plot

This episode parodies the 1982 science-fiction movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, directed by Steven Spielberg.

Also, the title of the episode is also a spoof of the 1997 movie L.A. Confidential, directed by Curtis Hanson.

    • Panic in Jerky Town: - Plot

The episode is basically a parody of the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, directed by Mel Stuart.

The episode also uses elements from the 1973 science-fiction movie Soylent Green, directed by Richard Fleischer and starring Charlton Heston.
