Episode Recap

Super Duped

As the episode begins, we find Johnny walking down the street, continuously repeating the list of things his mom asked him to pick up from the market. Little Suzy appears, carrying her school books, and walks in front of him. She asks Johnny if he doesn't want to come to school with her, for her "show and tell" hour. Johnny refuses, until he sees Suzy's teacher, and instantly falls in love with her. He agrees to be Suzy's show and tell project, just to impress the hot young teacher.
The show and tell hour begins, and we see what interesting things the some of the other children brought to school. Then it's Suzy's turn, and she introduces the super hero, Bravo-Man! Johnny demonstrates his made-up super powers by combing his hair super fast. All the kids are impressed, but Johnny is more interested in the teacher. The teacher comes closer to Johnny and tells him she loves big, strong super heroes.
Right then, on the street, a woman runs around screaming that the candy store has been robbed, by the super villain known as Sweetcheeks. One of the kids from school says that this is the perfect opportunity for Johnny to use all of his super powers and stop Sweetcheeks. Johnny is not at all happy about this.
After several failed attempts at stopping Sweetcheeks, Johnny is ready to give up. Suzy tells him that he can quit anytime he wants, as she has already got an A on her school report. However, Suzy's teacher repeats that she loves big, strong super heroes. Johnny then tells Suzy that he'll get her an A+. He gets up and walks towards Sweetcheeks again. A police officer tells him that it's dangerous to get any closer, and asks him to get back. Johnny replies that he is a super hero, and he can handle it. When hearing that a super hero is there to solve the problem, all the policemen decide to leave and get some donuts.
Sweetcheeks manages to capture Suzy though, and threatens to transform her into a chocolate bunny, with a caramel center. In the meantime, Johnny notices his pants are all muddy, and tries to clean them with a water hose. He has some trouble with the faucet, not being able to turn the hose on. One of the kids from school appears next to him, and tells him that Suzy has been captured by Sweetcheeks. Right then Johnny manages to turn on the hose, and because of all the water pressure, he is thrown into the air, alongside the water hose.
The jet of water hits Sweetcheeks, who starts to melt. The water stops, and Johnny falls on the ground. Now that he has defeated Sweetcheeks, he goes to Suzy's teacher, asking her for a date. He is surprised however when a real superhero, Pretty Boy, lands in front of him, and takes the teacher in his arms and flies away with her.
Johnny is depressed, while the kids run around him, asking him to use more of his powers, like his heat ray. Johnny, annoyed, looks at all of them and asks on which one of them he should use his heat ray.

Bungled In The Jungle

The episode begins with a shot of an airplane flying, while the narrator is heard telling us that there are only two ways to travel when flying over Africa: either at first class, or no class. Inside the airplane we see the stewardess dragging Johnny with her, and throwing him off the airplane.
Johnny falls towards the jungle, where he lands on top of Jungle Boy, and breaks his leg. The other animals are shocked to see this, and chase after him. All this is being filmed and broadcast on the Jungle News Network, the JNN. King Raymond is shown watching this, and he is delighted to see that the animals of the jungle are so against humans. He believes that soon the other animals will see Jungle Boy as a miniature version of Johnny Bravo, and soon will hate him too. He devises a plan to catch Johnny and make an example out of him.
Next we see a meeting of the animals of the jungle, lead by King Raymond himself, who tells the others that they must capture Johnny as soon as possible, as he is armed and dangerous. The animals are shocked to hear that Johnny has a gun. King Raymond corrects himself; he only meant that Johnny has arms, not an arm (weapon). The snake present at the meeting feels offended by this comment.
King Raymond sets up one very old fashioned trap to capture Johnny, even though he doubts it will actually work. Much to his surprise, the trap works, and Johnny is captured. Next we see Johnny tied up, in a burning pot. The other animals don't want to cook Johnny, let alone eat him, but King Raymond tells them they must do this, to warn all other humans they are not welcome in their jungle. Johnny tries to trick the animals to let him go, saying that if they do, he'll order all of them some pizza. His trick doesn't work, unfortunately.
Jungle Boy appears, with his leg in a cast, and tells the animals they should let Johnny go, because he knows he didn't mean to do it. Johnny says that it's true, and that he wouldn't even hurt a fly. A fly is shown, who says that Johnny is lying, and that he would, in fact, hurt a fly.
King Raymond objects to Jungle Boy's request of letting Johnny go, but he is bitten by the snake, and falls asleep. The snake is proud of what he did, and keeps saying that he is poisonous. Johnny is let out of the pot, and Jungle Boy offers his friendship, by wanting to shake hands with Johnny. Johnny accidentally breaks Jungle Boy's arm, and all the animals gang up on him again.

Bearly Enough Time

At the beginning of the episode we find Johnny and his mom, Bunny, in the woods. Bunny is collecting pine cones and using them to make Johnny the perfect outdoor leisure suit. She leaves in search for more pine cones, and tells Johnny to wait for her. Johnny stays put, and keeps saying to himself that his mom will be back soon. In the meantime night falls, and a wolf is heard howling at the moon. Then Johnny gets worried and leaves in search for his mom.
He runs across a cave, and believing that she might have gone inside the cave, he enters the cave without reading the warning signs outside. Being dark in the cave, he doesn't see where he is walking, and steps on all the alarm clocks and destroys all the watches inside. The lights are turned on, and Chronos the Bear has awaken from his hibernation because of all the noise.
Chronos the Bear is infuriated that someone has entered his cave and destroyed all his clocks. He asks Johnny if he knows who he is dealing with. Johnny says that he's only a bear in the woods. Chronos contradicts him, by telling him that he is Chronos the Bear, master of all time. He demonstrates his powers by telling the exact time, with an even higher precision than the phone service. Chronos also admits that his dream is to one day be on the cover for Time Magazine. Johnny is not at all impressed by all this, and wants to leave the cave, and continue looking for his mom. Chronos stops him, showing him his exact schedule, which he must follow. His schedule consists only of two action: sleep and eat, and eat and sleep. And, since he is not sleeping at the moment, it must mean that he now will eat Johnny.
Johnny tries to make a deal with Chronos. If he can make Chronos fall asleep again, he will not be eaten. Chronos tells him that it will be impossible for him to make him fall asleep again, but agrees to give him a chance. Johnny first tries to hypnotize Chronos by rotating a watch in front of his eyes, and repeating the line "You're getting sleepy..." over and over again. This does not work, as Johnny himself is the one who falls asleep. Chronos growls and wakes him up, and also notes that the watch Johnny has been using to hypnotize him was a couple of seconds off.
Johnny's next plan is to make Chronos watch only boring shows on TV, which will make him fall asleep. This plan actually works, and Johnny, seeing that Chronos is sleeping, tries to sneak out of the cave. The suddenly, all the clocks in the cave which have been repaired by now, go off, waking Chronos again. Johnny says he's still got some time to make Chronos fall asleep again, and points to the VCR machine. Chronos admits that not even him, the master of all time, doesn't know how to set that machine. Johnny uses this diversion to run away from the cave. Chronos chases after him.
Johnny is being chased by Chronos all around the forest, until they meet up with Johnny's mom, who has been collecting pine cones all this time. When Chronos hears her singing voice, he thinks it is relaxing, and falls asleep, on top of Johnny. Bunny arrives and sees them sleeping like that, and says it's sweet. She takes them home, and puts them in the same bed. Johnny is afraid to admit it, but in the end he says that it is going to be a long winter.
