- Captain Kirk: The man Johnny tries telling that there is a clown on the wing of the plane during the episode The Man Who Cried "Clown", who reacts by ejecting himself off the plane is a caricature of actor William Shatner (born March 22, 1931), best known for his portrayal of James T. Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise, in the science fiction television series Star Trek from 1966 to 1969. William Shatner also starred in the 1963 episode of The Twilight Zone called Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, which is parodied in this Johnny Bravo cartoon.
