  • Season 1 Episode 7: Hip Hop Flop / Talk To Me...

  • In Hip Hop Flop, we see that the place where the Round Pound hang out is called the "Rayve Club".

  • In Blanky Hanky Panky we see how Johnny looked like when he was a baby.

  • The episode Talk to me, Baby introduces the character of Vendela. She has already been mentioned by Johnny before in the episode Bungled in the Jungle.

  • Season 1 Episode 6: Blarney Buddies / Over th...

  • Towards the end of the episode Blarney Buddies, during the scenes Johnny chases the leprechaun to the farm, the instrumental version of the childrens' song "Do Your Ears Hang Low?" can be heard.

  • In a later episode, A Johnny Bravo Christmas, the second Christmas special of Johnny Bravo, Johnny would mention his kidnapping and being forced to join the French Foreign Legion inside the cargo hatch of a plane; events that we can see in the episode Over the Hump.

  • Johnny Bravo Meets Farrah Fawcett is the first and only time actress Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 - June 25, 2009) had a voice acting role in an animated TV series (she would later do voice acting in the animated feature-length film The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, from 1998). In this episode, she stars as herself, and she also voices the little old lady who is standing in front of Johnny in the line for the party.

  • Censorship: On the original airing of Johnny Bravo Meets Farrah Fawcett, the kid whose present (a toy clock) is destroyed by the doorman at Suzy's party had the following lines: "You're a spazz", and "Later captain spazz!".

In most (if not all) prints of this episode that air today, the word spazz has been replaced with stupid. It is easy to notice this edit as the kid's voice suddenly changes to a deeper one when the word "stupid" is spoken.

  • The short blond guy with glasses who won't let Johnny enter Suzy's party in Johnny Bravo Meets Farah Fawcett has previously been seen in a previous episode, I Used to be Funny (he was the guy who kept kicking Johnny when the clowns put a "kick me" sign on Johnny's back), and will return in the episode Beach Blanket Bravo, as the only guy on the beach who realizes a shark is among them.

  • The waiter briefly seen at the end of Over the Hump offering Lawrence a drink is Mike Stevens, the same waiter that served Johnny and Carol the antelope in a previous episode, Date With An Antelope.

  • According to Johnny, Farrah Fawcett is the only person in the world with hair as pretty as his.

  • Johnny Bravo meets Farrah Fawcett marks Farrah Fawcett's first and only appearance on the show. Even though she is revealed to be Little Suzy's cousin, she is never again seen, heard or even mentioned.

  • Season 1 Episode 5: I Used to Be Funny / My F...

  • The gift Santa Johnny gives to Scooby-Doo reads: "Good for 10 weeks of sthpeetch therapy at the Cindy Brady Sthpeach Therapy Sthcool".

  • The short blond guy with glasses who kept kicking Johnny when the clowns put a "kick me" sign on Johnny's back during I Used to be Funny will later return in two more episodes: Johnny Bravo Meets Farah Fawcett, where he won't let Johnny enter Suzy's party, and Beach Blanket Bravo, as the only guy on the beach who realizes a shark is among them.

  • 'Twas the night marks: Scooby-Doo's final appearance on the show, Chronos the Bear's second and last appearance, and Jungle Boy's third appearance.

  • 'Twas the night is the first Johnny Bravo special Christmas episode.

  • In 'Twas the Night, Adam West provides the voice of the narrator. He will be back on the show, voicing himself, in the episodes Johnny meets Adam west, and Adam West Date-O-Rama.

  • In I Used to Be Funny, Johnny mentions he hates clowns.

  • Santa Claus: Merry Christmas, you pinhead! Round Two is next year!

Fast forward: Technically, "round two" turned out to be 4 years later, marked by the episode A Johnny Bravo Christmas, which aired in 2001.

  • Season 1 Episode 4: Date with an Antelope / D...

  • Starting in October 2011, the European version of Cartoon Network's sister TV channel Boomerang used a scene from the episode Date With An Antelope in their promos for the Johnny Bravo show. The scene where Johnny is in the bathroom, spraying deodorant under both of his armpits at the same time, then spinning the deodorant bottles on his fingers and placing them in the holsters on his belt, the same way a cowboy would do with his guns, was used in both the "Coming up later" and "Coming up next" bumpers.

  • Mike Stevens, the waiter who served Johnny and Carol during Date With An Antelope will later have a cameo at the end of another episode, Over the Hump, where he will be seen offering Lawrence the Camel a drink.
