The Good, the Bad & the Johnny: Susan and Mary Test are tired of Johnny's bad habits. After he destroys their lab for the umpteenth time, they decide to remove Johnny's negative behavior and make him act nice. Unfortunately, they make him super-annoying at the same time. Johnny's extracted badness soon mutates out of control and becomes a bad Johnny. Can Susan and Mary figure out a way to stop "Bad Johnny" and get the two Johnnys back together?

Rock-A-Bye Johnny: Johnny can't get to sleep because his dog Dukey keeps pillow fighting him, so he asks his sisters to invent a device to help him get to sleep. His sisters oblige but Johnny accidentally fires the device at his parents making them sleepwalk! Can Johnny wake them up before they get into trouble?moreless
  • Johnny dreams a little dream, & Johnny's bad side is exorcised (temporarily!) :!:

There's never any way to tell how a dream episode is going to work. It could either be hit or miss. While I was happy to see Johnny in his subconcious was Still willing to help his parents, I of course had my doubts about some of the more weird things going on in the course of the episode segment's events. I mean, wouldn't have Johnny woken up when his sisters just gave him an invention willingly?! That would Never happen in real life! And of course it didn't! Also, just because someone happens to be a genius & somebody related to them isn't, that doesn't give the genius or geniuses in this case any real license to take away the qualities that make their relative their relative! Doing so could have devastating consequences, & it did for Susan & Mary Test when they realize that even if Johnny gets on their nerves sometimes, they're a Lot better off with their brother just as the way he is than if he were purely nice or purely destructive! If it weren't for those few flaws, I'd give this episode a perfect 10! But still a decent effort overall! That's why I wrote this review! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless
  • Fed up with Johnny's bad actions, Susan and Mary separate him into a good Johnny and a Bad Johnny / Johnny doesn't get enough sleep, so his sisters use a sleep ray on himmoreless

The line "you don't know what you've got til its gone" from early in the episode was perfect for this one, where Susan and Mary end up realizing that good johnny is just as annoying as a bad one. The episode moved pretty quickly and the plan to catch bad Johnny wa a little obvious, due to the classic cartoon patch of grass that is clearly tinted differently fromthe rest of the lawn / "Rock a bye Johnny" was another good one. Even though it was fun off clues (the side effects on the girls, the sheep driving the car, and others), they were subtle enough to not give away the truth: it's all a dream. A good amount of action in classic Johnny Test style, going everywhere around town, dealing with a bunch of new issues while trying to solve the main one, and a good ending. Grade : Bmoreless
