Joh's Jury is a 1993 television movie directed by Ken Cameron and
written by Ian David. The movie is based upon the the 1991 perjury trial
of Joh Bjelke-Petersen, an Australian politician, who was the
longest-serving Premier of Queensland in history. Joh's Jury starred
Matthew (Simon Bossell), Penny (Penny Cook), and Thelma (Julie
Hamilton). Joh's Jury was produced by the Australian Broadcasting
Corporation and aired solely in Australia. The movie was made two years
after the perjury trial concluded.
