What do you think about the Special? i think it's awesome that they do this or them! and the one thing that was crazy was they their not ganna let the girls get the ears peirced till their 11! i got mine done before i was even i year old i think thats really strick! but the best thing about it was see their personalities like they said and letting them sit in the chair. and i loved Cara's day! i hardly hear her when she's with Mady, casue Mady's so loud and moody. and Cara's just like always their but can never get a word out.

They have shown the episode of Mady's special day several times since it's original date. But I haven't seemed to be able to catch a re-run of Cara's special day at all. Was it uneventful?

The one who went to see the alligators was so cute. She loved that little thing. Kate was scared as no other of all those reptiles. I loved that episode.

I think it was Collin - him and his train obsession that was a good dad/son bonding time. Dang, I miss the days when I played with trains. XD

(from my previous post) Cara's day was very interesting to me. She finally got to be the star. I think she is beautiful and so much like Jon!

I also liked the "aldergators". Oh, who am I kidding...I loved all of them!

^^ Actually Collin went to see the trains and Joel went to the Hands-On-House. Easy mistake though

Ohmigosh, I loved seeing Alexis go to see her aldergators! It was so cute! And Leah was really cute at the bouncy place! I loved when Jon dressed up in the costume and when Leah saw him in it she got scared and ran the other way!

I just wish Hannah wasnt so shy in that episode. But im glad that all the kids had fun.

For the first post, It's probaly because they wanted their kids to make sure they want a ear piercing. I wasn't allowed to have one till I was 8...(to bad I can't wear earrings anymore though, DX)

Thats what i was going to say as well. When I have kids I dont plan to let them get their ears pierced till they are at least 10 (maybe younger if i think they are truly making the decision because thats what they want not because all their friends do). I wasnt allowed to get mine done till I was 13. My parents wanted it to be my decision. I think Madie really wanted hers done so I think it was nice that they let her get hers done for her special day. That episode was on yesterday.

so?????????????????????????????? she stayed home with the other "icky" boys when the one was out with Jon.@@ May I ask why you watch this show and then post on it when you clearly don't like it? I certainly don't waste my time discussing shows I don't like.

I enjoy the children. It is heartbreaking to observe Kate turn from a seemingly loving mother to a greedy shrew.

I thought it was fine that Kate let Jon take the boys on their special days by themselves. The boys needed some father son time.

But they sit on their "love" seat and say that the children need alone time with their parents, not just father.

yes, they do....surprise,surprise, the cameras are not on them 24/7, so how do you know the kids do not spend time with both parents? Besides, if both parents go, then they have to find babysitters....... I think you are mistaken about Kate. While she is far from perfect, she does not seem to be as bad as the Kate-haters make her out to be.
