When Dan is in the past (2000) in the garage, a Quakerstate banner with the "Unleash all your horses" slogan was plainly visible hanging on the wall.
However, that slogan wasn't used until early 2007.

Goof: In the garage, in the past (2000), when Dan is talking to Michael Kualchuck, Michael removes both gloves, but when the camera pans back to him, he removes them both again.

Goof: When Dan leaps to 1994 its announced as the year of the rabbit, but in the Chinese Zodiac 1994 is the year of the dog.

Goof: The green vegetables change position in Katie's shopping basket as she talks to Dan on her phone.

Goof: The newspaper which has the headline regarding the Superbowl has Sunday's date. The Superbowl report would be in Monday's paper!

Goof: When Dan Vassar travels back to the 1980s for the first time in this episode, the cars in the background are twenty first century cars.

The Vassar family home is the same house that Dan Gordon occupied in The WB series, Charmed. It was right next door to the Halliwell Manor (on the left side as seen from the street). Charmed was also set in San Francisco.

Goof: Several shots from 1987 show residential permit parking signs. But the residential permit parking program did not begin in San Francisco until 1988.

Goof: In the scene when he is in Golden Gate Park they show the Golden Gate Bridge in the back ground. This is fake. You can not see the Golden Gate Bridge from Golden Gate Park.

Goof: In 1987 Dan saves Neal from being hit by a streetcar. The streetcar is the F Line on Market street. That did not exist then. The F-Line started service in 1995.
