  • Lame rip-off of an already good video game review show...

    1.0
    "Abysmal"
Unfunny hosts, and very lame scoring system. Since X-Play already did the \"1-5\" scale, they have to do \"1-10\" and to make themselves sound really intelligent, they have crap like 4.5...etc... X-play reviews, and PREVIEWS upcoming games. More than what Judgement Day offers. Overall, this show is not worth any effort at all. I have no choice but to give this show a 1... out of 5.
  • Too bad it got canceled.

Judgement Day is simply a video game review TV show with two hosts, Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico. This show got canceled because of low ratings - which I don't understand. This is a great show with two greats hosts that usually debate video games. The two of them often disagree on what game is better, and that's what makes it good. This was one of the best shows on G4 before it got taken off the air. Anybody that loves video games that saw this show likely liked it. If not, they don't know what they're talking about. Great, informative, interesting, entertaining show.
  • Tommy and Victor review various video games, accessories, comics and make comparisons on the video game review show.

I have always been a fan of Judgement day. They give games scores based on a 10 scale which is easier to understand. They also review games based on re-playability,sound, graphics and story. Other than Xplay which gives a 3 out of 5. a vague score that is given out to almost every game they review. Even games they claim to hate get it. Tommy is a very harsh critic and pulls no punches. While Victor is the good cop of this group seems to be more forgiving. They rarely let their personal likes get in the way of a review. (like Adam Sessler's hate of anime or Rpgs) Their reviews are very fair and balanced. Looking into replay value and story not just sound and graphics. Plus they recap the shows reviews. Something Xplay finally got around to doing this season. A segment called Buried Treasure. Is used as a filler for those months that are light game releases. Showing older games you might have missed. But can now find a rock bottom prices. They also review Video game Accessories. Something that many other video game review shows miss entirely. Finally they interview various artist and writers to upcoming comics that you might want to look out for. and instead of just giving you clips of upcoming games. they give you interviews with the developers. Let you know what they plan the game to be like. All in all this is a very entertaining 30 minutes that uses most of its time with reviewing and not silly skits about nothing (ahem Xplay) My only problem is that G4 doesn't broadcast it regularly. But they should its far superior to Xplay or any other video game review show you watch.
  • mediocre.

this show is one of the least open minded shows on TV. Bias Reviews and nonsensical banter. annoying personalities. they usually remove focus from the games and start insulting themselves. and over the top ratings. dumb really.sometimes i just wonder who put tallarico in there. he is the most biased person to rate a game. common ppl, do something. for exaple he doent have to produce. Bigup to him however for his recent video game concert
  • Judgement Day is a show that reviews video games.

Judgement Day is a show that reviews video games from 1 to 10. It's a great show to watch because they tell you which games are worth buying. Usually thier ratings are good but sometimes thier scores don't really make much sense. The two reviewers try to be funny but usually aren't and they waste a lot of time talking about pointless subjects. Overall, this show is a pretty good review show and I recommend watching it.
  • Bias reviews surrounded by good comedy.

Judgement Day is a good show put simply. It reviews games with some bias which is understandable for reviews. However its easy to predict when a game the is a RPG or something and Victor of Tommy doesn't like. They apply quick wit combined with some over the top, trying to be funny moments. However as a review show for games they are simply the best (in comparison to X-Play). Judgement Day has a more serious over tone with humour. So when they do something out of the ordinary, it's funny. While X-Play is more of a horseplay type show, so when they do things like Judgement Day it seems stale and boring. Judgement Day is a good show and entertaining. It is a true shame that G4 only has this on for half an hour.
  • A decent review show with mediocre hosts.

I've watched this show on many occasions. To me, Judgement day is just an alternate choice to X-Play. If I don't agree with the reviews X-Play give, I'll watch Judgement Day to see what they think.

The hosts on this show is Tommy and Victor. Tommy is suppose to be the comedy relief guy, but all he turns out to be is extremely bias. He tend to only give high scores to games that fit his persona. Victor is more fair with his reviews. The only problem I have with him is he tends to give high scores to every game.

I do like their reviews however. Even the Tommy And Victor aren't as good as Adam and Morgan, their reviews tend to be more descriptive. Unlike X-Play that goes on a scale of 5, Judgement Day is a scale of ten. To add to it, they go by half points to so some games might get an 8.5 while others get a ten. I also like the Likes/Dislikes at the end of the reviews. Even if they bash a game in a review they'll show some goods about it at the end.

So I like the reviews, but hate the reviewers. This show will get 7. If your looking for laughs, watch X-play. But if you don't like X-Play's reviews or host, this is a great alternate choice.
  • good show

Judgement Day is like Xplay where they judge games like Xplay and Gamespot. they don't try to make their reviews funny. they are serious about reviewing the games they show on their show but its a good show. Tommy and Vic are the host of Judgement Day. you will like this show if you are serious gamer. l like this show and you will probably will like this show too. its a great show to watch if you have G4TV. this show is like xplay but less funny but sometimes it tries to make you laugh but most of the time their jokes aren't funny. the finally word its a good show to watch to see if the game you want is worth getting but you will probably go to gamespot to see if you want to get the game. End
  • This show is great for gamers.

Judgement Day is a great show for people who love to play video games. The show is mainly about reviewing games with two hosts that are very fun to watch. They take you through the games and give you the cons and pros of each. Overall, I would recommend this show to all video game lovers.
  • In the end, this shows delivers a great experience it has fresh new dialog and brings unbelievable new contents and a change of environments in every episode.

Il start this review by telling you who is the two people who are the show, Tommy Tallarico and Victor Lucas.

They both are on camera and behind it, they are the makers and the directors.

Every episode feels like a new experience in a new background the fit the games which are been opinionated [opinionated is a key word] while the hosts are driving each other crazy [most of the time, there is some nice FUNNY moments] there so diff its unbelievable, Tommy is single, rice, [a bit short] and funner person that own his on company [you wont believe is a business man by looking at him] and Victor is a married, white, tall that is a bit more sensitive and most of the time see the better side of things...even if no one agrees that what he sees as the "best side" is the best side.

A big fun and huge show, you would like the combo of friends and you would enjoy every second.
  • The review show that (unlike X-play) reviews games, rather then making them centerpieces of comedy bits. Vic is level headed and understanding, while Tommy is more brash and opinionated. It makes for fair reviewing.

With X-Play sucking the credibility from TV review shows, lucky for us Judgement Day is here. With the two hosts having very different personalities, the reviews average out to being informative and balanced. Victor brings the level-headed and objectice view, while Tommy brings the testosterone-driven nuts view (which isn't as bad as it sounds.)
  • The show is a lot better than the other rating show X-Play because they do take the games seriously and give reviews that personally I swear by.

    "Superb"
I think this is a well made game review show and that more people should tune in. Both hosts are clever and have been at this for a long time. Tommy has been on the inside for many years and is genuinley funny. Vic on the other hand tends to like the same games that I like. The fact that they show both hosts opinions instead of just one combined average is also much better. The only problem is that they didn't make enough episodes and that is annoying because you end up sitting there forever in the hopes that maybe they'll do something new. I like the versus thing because usually I want to buy either of those games and can't decide which. Keep up the good work Tommy and Vic
  • A good review show that gets bogged down by its own thinking that it is funny.

    "Good"
JD is an OK show, the game reviews are good, and honest, but it seems to believe that it is funny and tries too hard to sell whatever jokes the hosts may make. For example Tommy, one of the hosts, will always talk about shoving whatever peripheral they may be reviewing down his pants. I didn't find that funny the first time and I don't really find it funny any other time. Victor, the other host, doesn't usually try as much a Tommy, but he usually doesn't get a chance to shar his opinion without Tommy interrupting. Tommy tends to be all over the place, filled with the idea that he is a Video Game Simon Cowell, and that he's funny. Some episodes I've enjoyed more than others, but if you are looking for a FUNNY Game Review show, I'll have to go with X-Play.
  • It's a decent review show, but it seems to forget that game recommendations are far more important than personal opinion.

    7.0
    "Good"
Judgement Day is a decent review show, hosted by Tommy Tallarico and Victor Lucus. These two reviewers give their personal opinon each game, and use a 0-10 rating scale. The one thing you will notice about their reviews are that they are personal opinion only. They don't try to give good games good scores, but instead they will give games scores according to genre and difficulty. These guys do not like RPGs or RTSs. They usually give RPGs and RTSs low scores, only because they don't like the genre. Tommy gave Forza Motorsport a score lower than it deserved just because he didn't know how to play driving sims. There are much better review sources out there, that do not review games based on genre. While this show is decent, there are definately better places to go for game recommendations, especially if you are an RTS or RPG fan.
  • There are two video game ratings shows. X-Play came out first, review the games more accurate, is funnier and has Morgan Webb.

    7.5
    "Good"
Judgement Day is a wannabe X-play that isnt as good in any way. Victor is ok but gives almost every game a high score. It's like he's afraid to give a bad score. Tommy is hyper, unfunny and doesnt review games on how good they are, but how much he enjoys them. People dont care how much some guy on tv personaly likes a game. They want an accurate & honest review based on the games quality, not just personal opinion.

Tommy is also bias towards playstation. He gives their games higher scores than other system's games. Every year at E3 he sounds like a kid in the toy store when he is talking about playstations booth. Then he gets to Nintendo and he sounds like he just found out his best friend is dead or something.

This show takes a couple months from when a game comes out till they review sometimes. X-Play is a superior show.
  • Th eall male version of X Play

    8.9
    "Great"
Easiest way to sum it up is its the all male version of X Play. The only thing missing is that scorching hot Morgan Webb. Still review games and hardware but the combination of Victor and Tommy is great. They are both funny and are a great addition to the G4 family.
  • A great honest game review show.

    "Superb"
The best most honest game review show on TV. Vic and Tommy arguing is a lot of times pretty funny. The reviews are always honest and true. They aren't afraid to say what they think of a game. The best game show on TV. They review the newest games and hardware every show. A must watch for any gamer.
