The funny thing is that Amy has mentioned taking acid in at least two previous episodes. The audience has to conclude that she has done drugs, no matter how much she denies it to her mother.

The humor in this episode is the storyline with Bruce. The officer has her sights on him...and she is not holding back. Amy watches the officer's moves and finds it humorous. One has to wonder, though. We know that Amy has had hot dreams about Bruce. The tension between the two of them is stimulating.

Boundaries were broken and challenged in this episode. The divorce ceremony in thought-provoking. The boy's need to beat a breath-holding record set by his father is another boundary to be tested. This is another well-written episode.moreless
