On the surface it is cut and dry - a young, innocent girl has been assaulted, and is suffering for it. Beneath the surface, all parties have been hurt and there is barely any way of overcoming it.

I don't know whether it is because I was that age 18 years ago or just because my cirlce of friends were totally innocent back then. But the fact remains that kids today are engaging in hectic stuff.

I guess that's what they taught us about peer pressure. Being lead to have sex, do drugs or commit crimes because you want to fit in, you want to look cool, you want to prove something to yourself or others or you want to escape fear. It sounds bizarre, but we try to beat the idea of "peer pressure" when in reality there is no "correct" path or way of doing some of these things.moreless
