    The underlying theme of this episode is the mistakes one makes due to inexperience and lack of wisdom. Kyle really screwed up. He used drugs and alcohol. He had every opportunity due to family wealth and he blew it. Now, eventhough he has medical training, he is flipping burgers and selling french fries.

    The Loomis sisters were young and innocent. Their mother was in the hospital and the well-loved president of the United States was assassinated. Everyone lost a sense of innocence that day. No wonder they panicked about the fetus. Amy lost some innocence in this episode,too. She had a very difficult time dealing with the deaths of the three children she sentenced to road clean-up work.

    It does make one wise, though....moreless
