Amy Grey deals with a respected friend accepting and promoting God. She also learns something about Bruce. He is a Catholic.

Amy has to tolerate her ex-husband's new girl friend. She is the opposite of Amy in everyway. She is not accomplished and thinks underlining text in a book makes her smart.

Maxine is being romanced. This is so nice. Jared wants to wine and dine her. He is rich and accomplished. Oh, and he can cook.

Peter and Gillian are not in this episode. Vincent stands up for himself with his monkey-sex girl friend. What a nice change! Donna has a good part in this episode. She goes from being over presumptive to full of sorrow. This is good for her.moreless

    • Bruce tells Amy that he rushes out every Wednesday after work to go to mass. Very few Catholic churches have daily mass in the evening. In most parishes they are held in the mornings. Although Catholic churches do offer adult education and other educational and social gatherings on Wednesday, he would not be rushing off to mass at that time. Edit
    • In this episode Amy is shocked to find out that Bruce is not only religious but in fact he is a practicing Catholic who was educated by the Jesuits. Bruce joins a very small group of African-American Roman Catholic characters in network TV history, such as social worker Sister Peg on Law & Order: SVU and Frank Pembleton from Homicide. Edit
