Maxine: (seeing Lauren attempting to cut her hair) Lauren! You are not allowed to play with scissors. Lauren: I have to cut my hair so the ghost wont get me and Mommy takes too long. Maxine: Who the hell told you there was such thing as ghosts? Lauren: This kid at my school. He's in the third grade. He said that ghosts like to eat little girls with long brown hair and brown eyes. I have long brown hair and brown eyes! Maxine: If there was a ghost that went after little girls with long brown hair and brown eyes, I would know. There isnt, because your mommy had long brown hair and brown eyes when she was a little girl. Now about this kid, will you show me who he is when I pick you up from school tomorrow? Lauren: Uh-huh.
