Its homecoming again and the buzz is all about t. At the game, Colby decides to boldly confront Lucy and ask her why she's so rude to him and she makes a joke out of it at first but later (by the goading of Alexis) tells him she's just always been moving around and doesn't make friends easily. He tells her she needs to loosen up and change and the issue is dropped. Coulier and Beth who have been working together decide to go to dance together just to go but Coulier gets offended with Gretchen says he should have asked Jared for "permission." Gretchen refuses to go to the dance with Carl after he fires her from the paper telling her she needs "to branch out" and "try other things" so she goes with Billy but the two make up by the last dance and she admits she was tired of it before he even brought up staff cutsAnna waits for Joshua to ask her to his schools dance but when he doesn't, she decides to not ask him and be "single" with Charlotte, Kalyopie and Gaby. Sarah goes with the King, Joseph while Blayke is with the Queen Ashley Moore and they surprisingly don't mind being close but with other people. Aaron is goaded to take Rhoda despite wanting to take Mandy McKibbin so she's taken by Aaron's only nice church friend Sarkin. While at the dance Teresa goes solo with the girls for a change but soon ends up going on a "dancing" spree when she can't hack it being single. Jared decides to do something new and asks friend Lisa Bishop who says yes while Korky also makes a change and waits for someone to ask himbut Cicely's mean words make it so that he has no one to go with and he ends up solo tagging along with Sean is with his date until he dances with Alexis. Also, Brody starts to turn more back into his old self with his old clothes and with is old friendsmoreless
