A speaker promoting absitenance causes a hub-ub and school, and prompts the whole gang to discuss sex (or lack thereof). Jason Hasby promotes abstinence but gets the opposite affect on some of the kids. In fact, sex seems to be on everyones mind, as the whole gang realize virginity is the one thing they have in common; and some are more apt to get rid of it than others. Aaron, who agrees with Jason barely even converses with his friends about it, but is suprised when most of his church friends don't necessarily agree with him, especially Rhoda who wants to move faster but Aaron won't hear of it and temporarily breaks it off. Korky, embarassed he's one of the few virgins "left," boasts in the locker room that he's done it, with Cicely. When she finds out about this she tells him she'll never speak to him again, and Teresa and the rest turn their back on him. Sean, secretly a virgin says he's done it as well and now he'll get more girls but Korky isn't that happy about it. Sean confesses to Korky he's a virgin and he, too spread a lie about him and Lindsay that wasn't true and that's why he had to change groups. Carl, Gretchen, and Jared collaborate on an article about what teens think about sex but when Gretchen feels she doesn't want her parents and family to read about it when they get the paper she drops out and forces Carl too as well, leaving Jared to write it alone and get rave reviews. Teresa gets upset over the assembly because it reminds people of a rumor that was started by a high schooler when she was in seventh grade that she was "easy" so toils not going to school until the hubub dies down, but with the help of Cierra Pond a girl with the same false rep. goes to a group that deals with girls victim to rumors. Anna is surprised when Joshua is actually pushing sex and later learns because the same speaker visited his school and he doesn't want to seem "un-cool," so they actually talk about it and decide they're both too imature. Sarah liberally tries to get embarrassed Gaby, Brody, Beth, Blayke, Colby, and Coulier to talk about it by starting a club at school talking about how to say no and such but when it flops her friends end up help promote it and it actually ends up meshing with Teresa's group who is no longer embarassed. Also, Billy and Charlotte get asked to write a song for the paper to publish but end up publishing That Thing (Billy's choice) and Like A Virgin (Charlotte's choice). Meanwhile, a vignette depicts two unkown characters seen pressured to have sex and when they do they're lovely relationship falls apart.moreless
