5/18/03Whitney helps Stanton close on the family business but the firm has until 5pm to do it. The papers are on the table ready to sign and Alex tells the family that after the papers are signed they will help drop the charges against Tucker. Heller has trouble getting the judge to sign the order for the sale to go through.
Patrick finally gets the Judge to sign the order but the Judge forgets to sign a page after Patrick looks to make sure all pages are signed. Mr. Lewitt gets angry because he would lose the market share if he doesn't get Malbeery Brands (a cereal company)
Alex asks CJ Leon to look in to rumors that Malbeery Brands used genetically altered wheat in their cereals. Stanton is talking with Tucker who says Stanton made Marshall (Tucker's dad) kill himself. Malberry Brands isn't going to be sold for 60 days.moreless
5/11/03Whitney falls in love with a woman named Sota Hasura who asks Alex and Whitney to find her past and answer questions of long ago. Whitney takes Sota out to dinner, where a song takes her back in time, Alex looks at the file of Dragan Manic who they think may have committed war crimes in Hague at a concentration camp where Sonta's sister died.
Whitney and Sota share a kiss but her the moment brings her sister's face back to her. Alex and Whitney learn that person who shot Sota's sister maybe in California. Whitney now must keep Sota safe. Alex questions why Whitney wants to stay on the case.
Whitney is shocked to lean that Sota went to look for her Grand Father's watch by looking in a dead man's pockets. Alex has a meeting with the man who killed Sonta's sister, he pulls a watch out of his pocket (Alex's memory takes her back to seeing Sota's sister give the watch up for life.)
Whitney loses control as Sota runs out after looking at the face of her sister's killer. We find out that the watch was taken from Sonta's Grandmother. The watch is given back to Sonta who leaves to go to her country.moreless
5/4/03Mr. Decker principal of Harding High School is confronted by Geena Harrington because she is doing bad in school and wants to find a better way to raise her grades. Mr. Decker is let go from his job because Geena says her grades would be raised if she got closer to Mr. Decker.
Geena tells Whitney that Mr. Decker made advances to her, Alex decides to go and fill in for a teacher. Patrick feels Rebecca is getting too close and is having trouble ending the relationship. Alex found information that makes Alex wonders if Mr. Decker is telling the truth.
Rebecca gets angry because she thinks Peggy is going out with Patrick, Alex finds that Geena lied about what Mr. Decker did. Geena later says the Vice Principal told Geena to lie to help her grades.moreless
4/27/03Why did Leon quit law? Looking at new evidence in the case that made Leon leave law could put him in danger.
3/30/03Mr. Whitney may go to jail for having hazardous materials in his office. Has Mia finally been found?
2/23/03Alex goes out with Chris, a lawyer for the tire company that Whitney and Alex are have a lawsuit with. The firm now tries to get justice for a woman & her son. Whitney tells the court that Dane tire caused the death of Sandra's son & husband, When the tire company hired untrained people to replace the tires. The Company failed to tell people the tires were bad.
Alex learns that Chris was working on the same case and was a step ahead because of what Alex told Chris, they were taking the bar exam.moreless
2/16/03Susan worries about her job because being fat and seeks help in how to get it back after having a baby. Sue wants to sell Master Slim. Alex takes a job at the company to find out more. Alex gets worried when Susan doesn't come home and soon heads to the club to find her dead in the pool.
Alex thinks Susan died due to taking diet pills. Patrick finds a magazine editor asking him to pose for the magazine. Alex finds out that Susan's death wasn't caused by diet pills but by something else. Alex finds out that Kyle the creator of Master Slim was in prison on a weapons charge.moreless
2/9/03Alex must relive her days in prison after cell mates in her old cell block turn up ill. She finds out more about her prison time.
2/2/03Heller's former girlfriend and her husband may wish they hadn't found their dream house after they get sick. Whitney's next case has taking a dummy for a client because the ventriloquist will only talk through the dummy!
1/12/03Whitney must face his dad when he asks for help, an elderly woman is ripped by a funeral home later it is found that home is reusing things.
12/9/02Alex takes the case of a pastor who runs a homeless shelter and gets an eviction notice. Whitney must buy gifts for three ex-wives.
11/25/02Whitney looks into a contract dispute of a favorite idol. Alex and Heller find the record head is doing a lot of misdeeds.
11/18/02Alex and Whitney look into the death of a college football star, who kills himself. The autopsy reoport tells a different story.

11/3/02When a man dies of a rare form of cancer, the firm looks into the case for the family. Alex and Whitney believe the exposure of the illness may have happened during military service.
10/22/02When Tonya Madek is fired from her job at Speedway, she comes to the firm seeking to sue for wrongful dismissal. Patrick convinces the manager to hire her back while they continue to research Speedway. Shortly thereafter, a homeless man dies and Alex becomes ill after eating their burgers. When the Senior Corporate Counsel for Speedway turns out to be an attorney Whitney had fired with cause, Alex, Patrick and Peggy are even more determined to find out what the restaurant chain is hiding.
