Episode Summary

When Jack sends Maya in his place to an NYU forum on Women in the Media, she sees it as an opportunity to speak up for the viewpoints that Blush often tends to push by the wayside. Meanwhile, Nina attempts to stage a comeback by posing in head-to-toe gold body paint for Elliott, but her constant sniping at the photo shoot annoys Elliott so much that he pretends to be out of the solvent required to remove the paint.moreless

Jack coming up with metaphors was a great little recurring gag for the episode. It reminded me of the segment on Important Things with Demetri Martin where the host would create new expressions.

Megan Mullally: She's not funny on Party Down, wasn't funny on Will and Grace or In The Motherhood and she wasn't funny here.

The Nina storyline: Kind of funny, albeit predictable. If you have seen this episode multiple times like I have then it probably will be less funny in your eyes.

All in all just a decent episode of Just Shoot Me. There are many better ones out there.moreless

    • Elliott: Where are you going?
Nina: To take a shower this stuff off.
Elliott: Wait, you can't shower with that stuff, you can't even get it wet.
      Nina: Why not?
Elliott: Because it'll cake and stain and burn.
      Nina: My God.
Elliott: Don't worry. I have this special solvent to get it off.
Nina: Thanks for telling me. You saved me from an evening screaming in my shower.
Elliott: And how will that differ from your usual Tuesday nights?

    • Maya: Finch, what are you doing with an NYU newspaper?
Finch: There's a girl in there I'm stalking. We're gonna get married someday.
