Taken from the Static Shock TV Tome site: As Martian Manhunter is about to phase into the Watchtower from space, he's wearing a spacesuit. Yet when he phases himself inside, the spacesuit is gone.
How does Hawkgirl fly in space? She doesn't have a rocket pack, there's no wind resistance for her wings, and since her wings are natural they wouldn't work in space where there's no gravity such as she (presumably) uses to fly against Earth's localized gravity, or air to push against.
Hawkgirl: Remember your promise about staying in the corner.
Gear: But ... ?
Hawkgirl: In. The. Corner.
Brainiac: You are only delaying the inevitable.
Static: He's saying that like it's a bad thing.
Batman: Static – Gear – what's your situation?
Static: (in a robot's clutches) Let's just say there's room for improvement.
Static: Whoa. That's a big robot. Like a Shaq-size robot.
Carmen Dillo: If I knew Static was friends with the Justice League I wouldn't have joined you boneheads, even to do laundry.
Batman: There's an old saying about the wisdom of keeping your enemies close to you, but there's times I wouldn't mind sending Brainiac down a black hole.
Character bios: Brainiac
Corey Burton reprises his role as Brainiac from the Superman and Batman Animated Series.
Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern), one of the busiest men in animation today, also does the voice of Static (as well as Samurai Jack and many others).
Jason Marsden (Gear) also does the semi-recurring voice of Snapper Carr.
Superman and Wonder Woman do not appear in this episode.
Also referenced under its Static Shock listing.
Brainiac: All of this base will soon belong to me
A well-known game message from "Zero Wing," which in turn is referenced in the popular multiplayer game Team Fortress is "all your base are belong to us," meaning you've lost your fortress. Moreover, the game message is delivered by a very electronic voice. The use of "all" "base" and "belong" strongly suggest this reference.
