Episode Recap

On a distant planet the League use an antigravity device to stabilize an ice planet's orbit and keep it from colliding with another planet– the local Nomecians give them their thanks. Green Lantern stays there with Hawkgirl while the others return to Earth. GL introduces Shayera to the thrills of snow, including snowball fighting. In return she shows how they celebrate a successful battle on Thanagar – going to a bar. She then sets up GL for a bar fight to "make the evening perfect" and succeeds. The Flash brings presents to an orphanage but the kids want the extremely popular DJ Rubber Ducky toy that is sold out. The Flash has no luck finding it in the U.S. and goes to the source in Japan and gets the last one. Before he can return he gets into a battle with the Ultra-Humanite and the toy is destroyed. The Flash convinces Ultra-Humanite to help repair the toy, calling a truce in honor of the season. The two of them visit the orphanage and drop off the "improved" toy, and then the Ultra-Humanite returns to jail . . . although the Flash leaves him with a present. Clark brings J'onn back to Smallville and his parents' home for Christmas. Although the Kents make him welcome, J'onn is still perplexed and assumes human form and wanders the streets to understand the meaning of the holiday on his own. Overhearing a child, J'onn plays the part of Santa then visits a church. The next morning the Kents awake to find J'onn in his true Martian form singing his own carol for them.
