Trivia: The Question's car appears to be a 1967 Pontiac GTO.
The railroad tracks are far too wide. The Question's car would not be driving completely between the rails. Standard gauge railroads have rails that are 4'8 1/2" on center, or the width of the tires on his car.
Black Canary: (watching Huntress kiss Question) I'm sorry but ewww.
Huntress: All that crazy mystery man mojo and you can't even pick up a clue without being seen?! Question: The key wasn't a clue. The key was mine.
The Question: (to Huntress) You were too young to understand what your father did for a living, but what you knew was that when he talked, people listened. And wherever he went, he always had his guys with him, with the scariest one of all being Stephen Mandragora. Looking into his eyes was like looking into an empty pit...
The Question: Where are we going? Huntress: Don't ask so many questions.
Black Canary: I can't believe you! I rebuilt that bike by hand. Green Arrow: You're absolutely right. I'm sorry I saved our lives. And J'onn thinks Huntress is the unstable one.
Huntress: Train. The Question: I see it. Huntress: Train! The Question: I see it!
Green Arrow: You're not supposed to drive when you're angry. Black Canary: They're heading toward the waterfront. Hang on! Green Arrow: It's so funny that you think you have to tell me that.
Green Arrow: Alright, you two stay here. Don't make me sic Black Canary on you – you've only seen her nice side so far.
Green Arrow: I think you'll live to punch suspects another day, pretty bird.
Huntress: I'm here on League business. Green Arrow: That's not what J'onn said - we just called him. Huntress: Okay, that didn't work...
Huntress: I've got special arrows too. The pointy kind that'll go right through you.
Green Arrow: I know when I'm getting conned. Black Canary: You're cute when you're an insufferable smarty pants.
Huntress: Well I have a queston for you. Do you know what apophenia is? The Question: Apophenia - noun. The tendency to see connections where none exist. Did you come here just to make fun of my work?
Huntress: Wow - I had no idea that the Girl Scouts were responsible for the crop circle phenomenon. The Question: Few people do. Few even think to ask the question.
The Question: Okay, bored now, goodbye.
Huntress: Wildcat says you're a nutjob. The Question: Funny, he says the same thing about you. Huntress: He's right.
The Question: Somebody's following us. Huntress: Lose them. The Question: Like airline luggage.
Huntress: And here I heard you were some sort of brilliant fighter. Black Canary: (throwing her into a car) You heard right.
The Question: Figured I'd cut out the middleman. Huntress: Oh, baby doll... and just for the record, I usually prefer my date's to have a face.
Green Arrow: Are we dead yet? Black Canary: No. Green Arrow: Are we dead yet? Black Canary: Look, if we die I promise I'll let you know.
The Toonami UK summary for this episode refers to Mandragora as "Tobias Whale."
Huntress' costume has changed from her previous appearences. The eyeholes in her mask and the colors of her costume have been altered.
As confirmed by Dwayne McDuffie, Mandragora's son Edgar here is the same Edgar who appeared in the future in the Batman Beyond episode "Mind Games". There he has the seeming super-power to use mind-over-matter to resist physical harm.
Character backgrounds available: The Huntress, Mandragora, King Faraday, Tommy Monahan/Hitman, The Question, Green Arrow, Black Canary
Other heroes that appear without dialogue: Starman, Stargirl.
On first airing, clips at the end are from "Hunter's Moon and "Clash."
Kin Shriner, Jeffrey Combs, and Morena Baccarin reprise their roles as Green Arrow, the Question, and Black Canary, respectively.
First aired on YTV May 6th, 2005.
Franco Bertinelli:
Huntress' father, Franco Bertinelli, greatly resembles the character Tony Montana (Al Pachino) from the 1983 movie Scarface. Not only did his home resemble Tony Montana's mansion, but he featured a scar over his right eye and even dressed in the exact style of clothes Montana wore by the end of Scarface.
The Question: Oh Cadmus, Cadmus, wherefore art thou Cadmus?
The line spoken by the Question was said by Juliet (with Cadmus = Romeo) as she stood on the balcony in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
