That would be very unique, seeing Harrison Ford as Green Lantern. Imo, it'd be the same as seeing Hilary Duff play Black Canary; it'd be LOL funny, seriously!

Yeah, Lena. As of now, he's too old, especially when considering the relatively young average age of the cast. I read in some other forums that Edward Burns was a popular choice for Hal.

Nathan Fillion is a pretty good choice for Hal IF he can play a character other than a renegade or an outlaw. Facially, Tom Cruise could make a good GL, but he's too short. Hal is 6'1" and Cruise is 5'6" staning on an elevated curb.

Nice cast Sylent, although I wish Lucy Lawless was much younger so she could play WW, but Ali Landry has the look. Bats, Supes, Flash, GL, and Canary are fine, but for the MM I would have went with

    Lance Reddick

and Dennis Haysbert is a good Darkseid because of his voice and figure, but I was also thinking

    Michael Clarke Duncan

    The Joker : Jim Carrey

Lex Luther : Harry J. Lennix

and just in case they want Supergirl, no other perfect match than

    Elisha Cuthbert.

Dennis Hayebert would make an EXCELLENT Darkseid.

Additionally, Michael Dorn, would make a great Kalibak. He voiced the character in the STAS/JL/JLU series.

Tyler Perry (Madea) could play Granny Goodness.

...and the Furies. Lashina, played by Alyssa Milano.

    Stompa, played by Lucy Lawless.

Mad Harriet, played by either Devon Aoki:

    or Zhang Ziyi

    This is fun.

    Here are my cast picks

Superman -- George Eads from CSI. He's not tall enough (only 6'-0"), but the same height as Christian Bale, buff and wholesome. BTW, he was the voice of Captain Atom on JLU

Batman -- My favorite would be Steven Seagal. He has the bat-voice and the martial arts and broods well. But he's now too old and out of shape, so I guess Christian Bale is OK......or Chris O'Donnell

    Wonder Woman -- Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Green Lantern (John Stewart) -- My current favorite is Dennis Haysbert. He was also the voice of Kilowog on JLU. I also like Laurence Fishburn, (6'4") and Michael Dorn (also 6-4). I originally thought Denzel (6-0), but I think I like these guys better.

Martian Manhunter -- A CG figure won't work, but Dolph Lundren will. He's foreign (but his voice could be dubbed/modified anyway), he's huge, he's buff, and he has a weird facial bone structure. Mold his head like Worf and you're good to go. Peter Kock (Swede in Heartbreak Ridge) is also ok.

Hawkgirl -- Jeri Ryan, Seven of Nine in Star Trek. Looks good as a redhead. Also Rebecca Rojmin-Stamos (Mystique) or Angelina Jolie.

    Flash -- Sean Wiliam Scott.

    Black Canary -- Charlize Theron

I found this picture on internet:

Looks good, except for Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman is the wrong color.

Hopefully they will keep the ethnicity of the characters correct; a black Wonder Woman? Sorry, just doesn't work. As for the movie, it'll be hard to put a cast of six or seven big-star names in one group IMO. It just isn;t going to work, esepcially if they want to make a sequel. You'll have to have a few big names as the main characters and then some smaller actors to compliment them.

You'd have to center the film around the Routh and Bale characters, as well as the other main lead who will play whatever villain they intend to use.

Routh and Bale as Supes and Bat respectively. Hopefully, that'll be the ones they use. Steven Segal as Bats? Please, at least pick someone who can actually act.

Manhunter. I can't believe no one has mentioned "Hellboy's" Ron Pearlman. He's perfect for the role. Also, "Star Trek Next Generation's" Michael Dorn (the Klingon Worf) would be a good Manhunter.

I like "Witchblade's" Yancy Butler as Hawkgirl. She's physically fit and has the "tough girl" attitude to pull it off.

Flash could be portrayed by Ryan Reynolds.

Wonder Woman could be either Bobbie Phillips or Musetta Vander.

I'm not sure who I'd use as Green Lantern yet though.

LOL Tyler Perry as Granny Goodness, good one

    Mila Kunis as Lois Lane

    photo of

Mo'Nique or of course CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller

    photo of

and Zhang Ziyi would be a perfect Mad Harriet, good pick.

with regards to the previous photos:

Lance Reddick would actually make a good Sinestro - he's got that look about him...

Perhaps we could discuss who would play villains:

James Masters would actually make a good Brainiac after playing him in Smallville.

Kevin Spacey could reprise hes role as Lex Luthor.

Maybe the villains of the new film would be the Injustice Gang or Secret Society.

    any thoughts?

I think the villians in the move should be made up of the Legion of Doom.

I really like that! If they could pull that off, w/out being too corny, or homage-ish to Superfriends, I think that'd work out nicely, or as Clark would say, "swell!".

I can't wait for the movie, either. I hope it doesn't tank. A good script, with good acting, is what's needed. And the actors need to look the part, as well.

I highly doubt that we're going to get Hal Jordan as the Green Lantern. Its probably gonna be John for the same reasons he was in the DCAU: ethnic diversity.

What I read stated Supes, Bats, WW, Flash and Aquaman. No GL at all. What a disappointment. I really, really, really want to see GL live action with amazing special effects.

But for the Green Lantern movie, they're going with Hal Jordan, who is the logical choice. The only reason they're using John is the reason why they used him in JLU: Political Correctness:
