I wouldn't say it's the best show currently on air (Breaking Bad is definitely better, the best in my opinion) but it's for sure right up at the top, along with shows like Mad Men, Damages, Fringe etc. I think it's one of the most feel-good things on TV, I can't help smile a few times every episode, it has a great sense of character and charm.

I love Justified and it is only slightly behind Dexter in my opinion. Timothy Olyphant is wonderful!

Some things do not have a reasonable explanation, but anyway the show is going into its third season and looks like the second season is going to end with an all out bloody war.

Yes, ridiculously low, and even within the show, the ratings make no sense--"Reckoning", the 12th ep to air, was considered by many critics to be one of the two strongest episodes of the season, and yet here it ranks toward the bottom of the SEASON RATINGS.

I can only conclude that many of the tv.com 'voters' are complete idiots.

The second season is far better than the mediocre first season.

Definitely agree that the first season wandered quite a bit before finding its footing. My interest has grown as they developed the antagonists over the course of season 2 instead of bringing in a bad guy of the week (who was basically guaranteed to be dead at the end of the episode).

IMDB has the show rated at 8.9. Maybe there are a lot of TV.com users from Kentucky who don't like being stereotyped, hence the low scores.

Justified has to be one of the best shows out today and I can't wait for the next season.

Please hurry and give me my Justified fix :-)

Don't normally watch drama series, but this one is great with some of the best writing I've seen in a long time. Hope it can go beyond it's allotted 3 seasons. Timothy Olyphant is great.

It's a close 2nd to Dexter but the story lines are cool.

It's probably not my favorite show on TV right now, but I'd say it's third. And with Breaking Bad in between seasons and not airing for a while, and with Community on hiatus currently without a return date, Justified may very well rise to that top spot for me during its third season.

Breaking Bad is going to be hard to pass, but I thought that about Dexter too -- until Hanks killed off Edward James Olmos, then Dexter just fizzled into BLEH! (but has a lot of potential for the next season, now that Deb has seen what she saw). Also, if Revenge can keep up the intensity, I'll be torn between Justified and Revenge.

Hell... yeah!! Timothy Olyphant is just superb for the role. Love his edgy cool characterization of Raylan Givens!

Season 3, episode 9. Tremendous performance from Walton Goggins in this one. Very similar to Margo Martindale's town hall monologue from last season.

If you haven't been keeping up, you've been missing out.

Justified seems to be made effortlessly. There is no overacting, no contrived plots, and absolutely terrific writing. Raylon has to be the smartest, most underrated character on TV. At first, it just seemed he was incredibly lucky. After a while, you realize he is incredibly smart, quickwitted, and not afraid to act in a moment's notice. To paraphrase Ralon's boss on TV, he may not be a good marshall, but he is a good lawman.

If you notice, most intelligent television has low ratings. The past is littered with high quality cancelled shows.
