Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Henry and June's live-action appearances were slightly different from their usual appearance. Some were:
-The smiley face on Henry's shirt was larger.
-June had pigtails, though she usually has a ponytail.
      -June's jacket wasn't spotted.
-June's shoes were brown, instead of their usual purple.

    • The Announcer shouldn't have been worried about dying if the Earth were destroyed in "Armaggedon Outta Here." The Earth was destroyed in "Science Fiction Parody" and he was fine.

    • Near the end of this episode, June claims that "we are the first cartoon characters to step foot in the real world," although that was actually Donkey Kong, when he traveled from Kongo Jungle to Brooklyn in 1982 ... Way before this show existed! Unless, of course, Mr. Foot (the supposed actual first cartoon character to enter the real world) is actually Nintendo's ape character, but then there would be many "historical" issues.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (Shiz and Brutus are watching a show with Steve Erwin)
      Shiz: Who's this maniac?
Brutus: (Takes the remote from Shiz) Hands off! It's my favorite nature show.
Shiz: All right, but if it stinks, I'm clicking. (Takes the remote back)

    • Loopy: (Hears a crash outside) Jumping jitterbugs! What was that?

    • Bill the Lab Guy: (About the Action League) The future of mankind is in their hands.
Chief: We're all gonna die, aren't we, Bill?
      Bill the Lab Guy: Yes.

    • Henry: (Bumps into a projector) Hey, what's this thing? (Turns it on and it shows pictures of the real world)
      June: Amazing.
Henry: I'll say, those drawings are really lousy.
June: Those aren't drawings, Henry. They're actual slide photographs of the real world.
Henry: I've heard stories about it, but I never dreamed it could actually exist.
June: I wanna see it for myself, Hen-roid. I want...to get real.
Henry: Why bother? The real world doesn't look that great. (Slide goes to a photo of people riding bikes) Bikes! Cool! I wanna go too, June. How do we get to this real world place? Huh? Huh, June? How?
June: The entrance could be anywhere. (Sees an attic door) It could be this very door. (Henry opens it and a whole bunch of stuff collapses on them) Uh...speaking of getting hit on the head with heavy objects, here's a brand new episode of "Action League Now!" (Turns the page to "Action League Now!")

    • Chief: (Upon hearing that the League won't return for centuries) Do I look worried?
