When a Kamen Rider has contracted with a monster, that person is forever linked to their deck and cannot quit being a Kamen Rider.
This episode marks the first time Len has acted friendly towards Kit. He is normally emotionless and stoic.
Kit Taylor: I don't want to do this anymore. I don't want to get vented and I don't want to vent anybody. I'm sorry. Len: You can't give the decks back, not anymore. Kit Taylor: Why not? Len: That's why I tried to stop you from contracting with that dragon. Once you're linked up with your advent beast, you're linked for good. There's no way to get rid of the decks, unless... unless you're defeated. Kit Taylor: As in vented? Great, this is crazy! I mean, why would my dad even... Len: Your dad? Kit Taylor: Never mind.
Kit Taylor: Fighting monsters was one thing, but Kamen Rider Incisor, he was... he was a guy. He was a jerk and everything, but he was still a guy. Maya Young: But what happened to him? Kit Taylor: He got vented. I don't know what it means, either. Len told me he went into the Advent Void, it's some world between our world and the world behind the mirrors. And if you get sent there, you can't get back out again. Maya Young: And this could happen to you if you lose a fight? Kit Taylor: It happens to the other guy if I win the fight, so... I don't want that either.
Xaviax: Not having any doubts about betraying your entire planet, are you, Mr. Lansing? Drew Lansing: Oh no, I was just deciding whether I'd like to live in the White House or Buckingham Palace.
