Kotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider NEW Den-O
Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade
Strangely, Deneb never refers to Yuuto by name, even though he usually says it frequently.
Everyone seems surprised to learn at the end of the movie that Yu is actually the younger version of Yuuto, yet Deneb would not have been able to possess him had he not been the same person he had/would make a contract with. Presumably Yuuto's disapperance severed their link, allowing Deneb to form a new contract with Yu.
As the battle restarts after Sieg and Tsukasa arrive, Den-O Wing Form stumbles on the rocky terrain and is helped along by one of the enemy Gelnewts.
It seems strange that Owner would issue DenLiner tickets that allow admission to the train but not to travel on it.
Presumably Yuuto has always known about Deneb, DenLiner and it's passengers from his encounter with them as a child (as Yu), but did not say anything so as not to influence future events. This must also mean that he has always known that those he met would survive whatever happened up to that point, such as the many attacks from Kai and the Imagin, Gaoh's hijacking of DenLiner and Hana and Ryoutarou's regression into children.
Ryoutarou tells Yu that using a DenLiner ticket will take him to "DenLiner's station". Yet when he does use it, he ends up effectively in the middle of nowhere in the sands of time with DenLiner parked nearby with no station or any other structures in sight. This is however, exactly where Ryoutarou found himself when he first accidentally used a ticket at the start of Kamen Rider Den-O.
Yu: That's why I hate the country. It's nothing but trees, mud and bugs. The country is also so brown. Tokyo is cleaner and more brightly coloured. It's more interesting. If only I were in Tokyo.
Ryoutarou: A large earthquake temporarily connected the past and present. The oni used that to come to this time. Because of that, tiem has become distorted.
Deneb: That's not all. The oni are searching for something. Long ago, one of the oni exterminators split it into two. It's a stone called the oni's Kirifuda. It's said that if they retrieve the missing half, humanity will be destroyed and this will be a world of nothing but oni. It's truly a stone with the power to be a trump card.
Yu: Does it really exist?
Deneb: It does. It seems it has been passed down in this village since they exterminated the oni.
Ryoutarou: (to Yu) If you remember something, use this. (holds up a DenLiner ticket) It's a DenLiner ticket.
Ryoutarou: It's a train that travels through time. It can go into the past or the future. We ride that. When time is lined up... like 3:03:03 or, 10:10:10. Hold this ticket and open any door. You'll enter DenLiner's station.
Yu: (holding up his bag) It's in here. The Kirifuda half.
Deneb: You had it!?
Yu: I don't mind handing it over, in exchange... let me continue to ride this train. If that's not okay, then I'm leaving.
Owner: What a problem. That is merely an admission ticket. Normally it's not enough for a ride... But! We cannot just ignore the Kirifuda. Yu... if you entrust the Kirifuda with us, we will go to exterminate the oni. It will be a very dangerous journey.
Yu: Hey. Earlier you looked like sand...
Deneb: We Imagin become like that outside of we don't have a contract with humans. In truth, I have a contract holder, but...
Kotaro: It's just as Grandpa said. We were right to stand watch over you.
Hana: Kotaro is from the future. He's Ryoutarou's grandson.
Kotaro: In addition, despite appearances, Grandpa is 19 years old.
Yu: You're lying!
Ryoutarou: You may not believe it.
Owner: When time changes, such things happen. For example, a past change in time turned Hana into her current form.
Ryoutarou: It's affecting more than just me. I also have IMagin contracted to me, but... everyone's disappeared into time. And Deneb's contract holder... disappeared.
Naomi: He's stationmaster of KingLiner.
Yu: That's not what I mean. He looks exactly like Owner.
Owner & Stationmaster: (together) It's just your imagination.
Tsukasa: Wait, Hanamaruko. You're troubled with exterminating the oni, right?
Ryoutarou: Eh? How do you know that?
Hana: Well, he is...
Kotaro: Decade, right? They say he's been butting into various worlds.
Tsukasa: Yeah. (holds up the Decade card) That's right.
Momotaros: (under a hail of arrows) Hey now! You got the wrong guy! I'm... Fools! Look at this face! Do I look like I'd attack humans... (runs)
Deneb: Yu! Will you make a contract with me? Toki is right. I can't let you get hurt. If we make a contract, I'll gain a physical body.
Yu: But how?
Deneb: Just tell me any wish. That will become a contract. However, we will be connected until that wish is granted.
Yu: I see. I understand. Then defeat the oni. My wish is for Deneb's contract holder to return.
Deneb: Yu... I acknowledge your wish!
Momotaros: (as Den-O Sword Form) Ore sanjou!
Kintaros: (as Den-O Axe Form) My strength... has made you cry!
Ryutaros: (as Den-O Gun Form) Mind if I defeat you? Can't hear ya!
Urataros: (as Den-O Rod Form) Mind if I reel you guys in?
Owner: (on the Onigashima Battleship) That is the legendary boat that runs through time...
Sieg: (as Den-O Wing Form) Advent! To the top!
Deneb: (as Cho Den-O Vega Form) Let me say this to start! The face on my chest really is just a decoration!
Teddy: I don't get it...
Owner: Yu. Before we return to your time, I will permit one side trip. Where would you like to go?
Yu: Eh? I... will just return to my present time.
Deneb: Eh? Yu, you don't have to be reserved. Owner, Yu actually wants...
Yu: Deneb. I... know where I should be right now. I think I need to properly be there. If I'm not there, I won't be connected to Toki. That's why... I'm going back.
Momotaros: Will the next station be in the past or the future?
Owner: Yu... We didn't get a chance to hear his full name... Yu... was it?
Yu: (to the bullies) I'm not "Tokyo Boy"! It's Yuuto Sakurai! Say my name!
Deneb: Yu... if we meet again, I swear I'll help you! Not because of a contract. This is a promise!
Yu: Yeah, it's a promise!
Deneb: Hey, Yuuto. Um... Could it be, when you were a child...
Yuuto: Huh? What are you talking about?
Deneb: Oh, no. Nothing, It's nothing.
Yuuto: Deneb. Don't forget. It's not a contract. It's a promise!
Despite the Hikari Studio appearing briefly in one scene, Yuusuke does not appear in this movie.
Urataros, Kintaros and Ryutaros' possession of Jiro, Riki and Ramon respectively mirror traits that each character provides to their respective Kamen Rider Urataros/Den-O Rod Form and Jiro/Kiva Garulu Form are both blue. Kintaros/Den-O Axe Form and Riki/Kiva Dogga Form both provide strength. Ryutaros/Den-O Gun Form and Ramon/Kiva Basshaa Form both use guns.
Cho Climax Form.
Cho Den-O Forms:
Kamen Rider Goldra.
Kamen Rider Silvra.
Decade Rider transformations:
Kamen Rider Ohja.
Kamen Rider G3.
Kamen Rider Caucasus.
The newspaper article that Stationmaster shows the DenLiner crew contains the lines "Cry", "Mind if I reel you in on a rickshaw staff?" and "Mind if I eat, can't hear you!". These are variations on the catchphrases of Kintaros, Urataros and Ryutaros respectively.
The members of the Hikari Studio and DenLiner already know each other due their earlier encounter when the Studio arrived on Den-O's World during Episodes 14 and 15 of Kamen Rider Decade.
Both Oni Brothers use Gelnewt mirror monsters from Kamen Rider Ryuki's Ryuki's World as footsoldiers.
According to Owner, the Onigashima Battleship is the water-based equivalent of his own land-based DenLiner. In the same way that DenLiner creates it own rails on which to travel, the battleship creates it's own water.
In 1936, Kintaros, Urataros and Ryutaros possess Riki, Jiro and Ramon respectively. All three are/were Arms Monsters to Wataru Kurenai/Kamen Rider Kiva in Kamen Rider Kiva.
Urataros, Kintaros and Ryutaros possess the Diend summoned Riders, G3, Caucasus and Ohja respectively, matching their own Imagin colours to the Riders. During the battle, the Imagin use their own natural weapons instead of those the Riders would normally have, such as Ohja's Veno Saber.
Momotaros possesses Tsukasa as Kamen Rider Decade during the final battle, his Imagin colour being the closest to Decade's magenta. Unlike the other Taros, Momotaros uses Decade's Ride Booker Sword Mode instead of his own natural Imagin sword.
Deneb's catchphrase about the face on his chest being decoration is the same as what he said on first becoming Kamen Rider Zeronos Vega Form in Kamen Rider Den-O.
When Deneb possesses Kotaro and forms New Den-O Vega Form, the DenGasher transforms from Sword Mode to the previously unseen Naginata Mode, a form resembling Rod Mode with the blade of Sword Mode extended.
While in Vega Form, the Den-O Belt buckle changes to green. As there is no corresponding green button on the belt, Kotrao apparently cannot call for Vega Form himself, but must wait for Deneb to possess him of his own free will.
It is unclear which part of Cho Climax Form's body Sieg controls, although it seems likely that he is responsible for the wings and flight.
The old woman in 1936 refers to Urataros as "Urajiro", a combination of his and Jiro's names, although she presumably doesn't know that Urataros is an Imagin possessing the Wolfen Jiro.
Kamen Rider New Den-O Vega Form is created from Deneb's possession of Kotaro and is similar to Kamen Rider Zeronos Vega Form. Presumably a similar form would result if Deneb possessed the regular Den-O (such as in the alternate reality created by Kai in which Yuuto did not exist and Deneb was part of Ryoutarou's team).
Kamen Rider Den-O Cho Climax Form is essentially the same as the regular Climax Form but includes wings due to the inclusion of Sieg in the combination.
First appearance of Kamen Rider New Den-O Vega Form and Kamen Rider Den-O Cho Climax Form.
This is the first time that DenBird has been shown launching from the perspective of the DenLiner cockpit.
Set between Episodes 15 and 16 of Kamen Rider Decade.
Opening theme: "Cho Climax Jump" by Den-O All Stars.
Writer Yasuko Kobayashi previously wrote for Kamen Rider Den-O.
First appearance of Kamen Rider Goldra and Kamen Rider Silvra.
Full Japanese title: Gekijōban Chō-Kamen Raidā Den'ō ando Dikeido Neo Jenerēshonzu Onigashima no Senkan.
This movie begins the "Cho Den-O" series of films.
Set to feature Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, Ryutaros, Sieg and Deneb from Kamen Rider Den-O, Jiro, Riki and Ramon from Kamen Rider Kiva and Tsukasa and Natsumi from Kamen Rider Decade.
This is the fourth Kamen Rider movie to feature Kamen Rider Den-O. This is the first time this has happened due to the continuing popularity of Den-O two years after the main series ended and with the upcoming 2010 sequel series Cho Den-O.
The closing scene of the movie, with Yu chasing DenLiner as he says goodbye to his Imagin, mirrors that of Kamen Rider Den-O in which Ryoutarou rode his bike alongside DenLiner while waving goodbye to the Taros before they disappeared into time.
Momotaros's final line, "Will the next station be in the past or the future?" is similar to Owner's opening titles narration during Kamen Rider Den-O; "The train of time, DenLiner. Will the next station be in the past? The future?"
Momotaros calls Teddy 'Tendon', a type of a food. The nickname originates in Farewell, Kamen Rider Den-O The Movie: Final Countdown where Momotaros mishears Teddy's name during their first encounter.
Kirifuda means "trump card".
Toki's name means "time" in Japanese.
"Cho" means "Super" in Japanese.
Kamen Rider Goldora's name is based on the word 'gold'.
Kamen Rider Silvra's name is based on the word 'silver'.
Onigashima, meaning "island of demons", is a mythical ogre-infested island that features in the Japanese tale of Momotarō the Peach Boy (upon which Momotaros is based).
Kamen Rider Silvara's suit uses parts of that of Kamen Rider V3 from Kamen Rider The Next.
Goldora and Silvara's footsoldiers resemble the Gelnewts from Kamen Rider Ryuki.
