Kamen Rider Decade The Movie: All Riders Vs. Dai Shocker (Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Dikeido: Ōru Raidā tai Daish
AIRED:
The Hikari Studio arrives in a new world. Natsumi realizes that they're in Decade's World, Tsukasa's home, as his photos are developing perfectly. Tsukasa and company meet a girl called Sayo, who says that Tsukasa is her brother. Tsukasa doesn't remember her as Nobuhiko Tsukikage tells him that his arrival has distorted the world and only the strongest Rider can stop it. Regaining his memory, Tsukasa has Nobuhiko summon every Rider to find the strongest one. The battle comes down to Decade, Kuuga, and Diend vs. V3, Black, and Super-1. Decade's team wins, Tsukasa and co. end up in a castle with Eijiro, who reveals himself to be Dr. Shinigami of Dai Shocker. He welcomes Tsukasa as their leader. Natsumi and Yuusuke learn that Nobuhiko and Sayo are with Dai Shocker too. Nobuhiko attacks Yuusuke as Shadow Moon, awakening the most dangerous of Kuuga's powers. Sayo cannot forgive Tsukasa for leaving her and she has now become High Priestess Bishium. Tsukasa is attacked by Nobuhiko and Yuusuke as Kuuga Rising Ultimate controlled by Sayo. Tsukasa escapes, but Natsumi refuses to trust him knowing that he is the leader of Dai Shocker. Later, Natsumi is saved from Dai Shocker's attacks on the city by Narutaki. They meet Daiki, with Narutaki who telling him that the only way to save the world is to gather the other Kamen Riders. Tsukasa encounters Jōji Yuki and after a brief fight, Yuki helps Tsukasa escape Dai Shocker using his powers as Riderman. Daiki meets Kamen Riders Ohja and Kick Hopper and asks them to fight Dai Shocker, but they decide join it instead. Diend summons Raia, Gai, and Punch Hopper to fight them. An ambush under General Jark is then stopped by Tsukasa and Daiki. On the way to Dai Shocker's castle, Tsukasa, Natsumi and Daiki are met by the entire Dai Shocker army led by Shinigami and Ambassador Hell. The two are destroyed by the arrival of the other Riders. Tsukasa makes Sayo realize that Nubohiko is using her and she frees Yuusuke from her control. The three Riders fight Shadow Moon until the new Kamen Rider Double arrives. Double defeats Shadow Moon before leaving. All the other Riders join Decade in destroying Shadow Moon and the Dai Shocker castle. The awakened King Dark is destroyed by Kamen Rider J as Decade Complete Form's Jumbo Formation. After reconciling with Sayo, Tsukasa decides to continue his journey with the Hikari Studio, his true home.moreless

  • Kamen Rider Decade: The Final.

    10
Wow, theres a heck of a lot going on here, which in of itself is quite unusual for a movie of this kind, as they're usually fairly seperate from their respective series. Here however, the movie is tied very closely to the series and almost continues directly on from it, with the notable exception of there being no explanation for how Tsukasa survived the cliffhanger at the end of Episode 31 with Diend shooting him at point blank range. We start with the Rider War, a different one from before where the Rider fight one on one to decide the strongest. I would have liked to see more of this and some 'dream match ups' but theres plenty of action to come. Quickly, Tsukasa finds his sister and that he is the leader of Dai Shocker, who are trying to unite the worlds to conquer them. Even quicker, he is deposed and joins the remaining Riders in defeating Dai Shocker. This is the major draw of this movie; all the main series and specials Riders appear at once to fight in a massive Rider vs Shocker battle. The icing on the cake is Kamen Rider W's appearance, which is actually his/their on-screen debut and it's quite funny seeing Tsukasa's reaction to his design. Thankfully the movie gives better closure to Decade than the series did, even with the main characters deciding to continue travelling the worlds. While this movie clearly is not perfect, it's an immensely enjoyable adventure with plenty of action and past references.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • It is not explained how Shotaro and Phillip/Kamen Rider W got to Dai Shocker's World from Futo City and back.

    • In the photograph of Sayo at the door to the house, Tsukasa's reflection in the glass does not show his true position; he was holding his camera in front of him, but the reflection showed him stood with his arms down.

  • QUOTES (30)

    • Daiki: Tsukasa, where are you going next?
Tsukasa: Don't know. The worlds expand endlessly...

    • Natsumi: I wonder if someday, I too will be seeing the backs of people as they leave on a journey.

    • Yuusuke: Still going on a journey?
Tsukasa: Yeah. The journey has taught me what it means to meet people, how wonderful it is to live together.

    • Eijiro: (looking at photos of himself as Dr. Shinigami) What a terrible experience! I've had enough with squid and beer.
Kivahla: But you're kind of nihilistic and cool.
Eijiro: You can have these photos.

    • Tsukasa: I made a promise. Together... let's leave on a journey.
Sayo: No thanks. Brother, go by yourself. (gives him their father's camera) Sayo is going on a journey too. Using my own wings.
      Tsukasa: Really?
Sayo: Yeah. Probably. Surely. So this time, brother, journey for your own sake.
Tsukasa: You too, Sayo. (gives the camera back) To your own world.
      Sayo: Yeah.

    • Shoichi: Tsukasa... next will be your real journey.
      Kotaro: We are with you.
Momotaros: Don't summon me anymore. I'm super busy!

    • (Kamen Rider W defeats Shadow Moon)
Phillip: Isn't that enough, Shotaro? Let's go home already.
Shotaro: What is it, Phillip? This is the good part! You sure are cold.

    • (Kamen Rider W pulls up between Tsukasa and Nobuhiko)
Tsukasa: (on W's right side) A green Rider!
Nobuhiko: (on W's left side) A black Rider!
      Tsukasa: Black? He's green.
W (Shotaro): Either or. My name is Kamen Rider W. (to Nobuhiko) Now, count up your crimes!

    • Momotaros: Ore san... (a Shocker soldier gets in shot) You're in the way, arsehole! (kicks the soldier out of shot) Ore... sanjou! I sure am cool. Go! Go! Go!

    • Kamen Rider 1: As long as Riders are needed, we will never die!
Kamen Rider 2: As long as Rider exist, Dai Shocker will never achieve its ambitions!

    • Tsukasa: I am rejected by all worlds. No world is my world. That means any world can be my world.
Jaaku: So you want to help Dai Shocker take over the worlds?
Tsukasa: Wrong! First, let me clean up my own world. That's why... I will crush Dai Shocker!

    • Joji: (to Tsukasa) Sins will not disappear! All you can do is bear them! Even if alone, you fight as long as you live. That is, a Kamen Rider, isn't it? This is, how you fight!

    • Joji: Did you forget me? In the past, you took my right arm. Because I betrayed the organization.
      Tsukasa: Joji Yuki.
Joji: This time, it's my turn... to take something.
Tsukasa: Suits me. Please eliminate me. I have nothing left anyway.
      Joji: What?
Tsukasa: I've crushed the Riders. At least I can atone for it...
Joji: Do you think dying will erase your sins!? Right now, you're not even worth killing! The Tsukasa Kadoya I know isn't that kind of man!

    • Tsukasa: My little sister... my friends too. I've lost everything. What should I do?

    • Natsumi: Daiki, did you know Tsukasa's true identity?
Daiki: I suppose. This Diendriver too. It's a treasure I stole from Dai Shocker.
Narutaki: I see... With Diend's ability to cross worlds, we might be able to stop Dai Shocker's plot!
      Natsumi: Really!?
Narutaki: We'll gather the surviving Riders, and combine our forces!

    • Natsumi: It's the end of the world.
Narutaki: I warned you. I said Decade was the destroyer of worlds.
      Natsumi: Narutaki.
Narutaki: Dai Shocker's conquest of worlds is expanding. Come! I'll save you!

    • Natsumi: I won't be deceived by you again! Just go back!
Tsukasa: This is the only place... left for me to return to.
Natsumi: Please don't try fleeing into my world! This place, this world, this is your world that you have been seeking.
      Tsukasa: Natsumi...
Natsumi: I believed in you all that time... But, I was betrayed. You are a terrible person. I'm sure Sayo feels the same way.

    • Tsukasa: Why are the worlds still headed for destruction? Wasn't it the Riders' powers that were drawing the worlds together?
Nobuhiko: Apparently "Great Leader" has misunderstood.
      Tsukasa: Tsukikage.
Nobuhiko: The fusion of the worlds... and the Riders... has no connection whatsoever.
Tsukasa: What? What's the meaning of this?
Sayo: You're no longer the great leader.
      Tsukasa: Sayo!
Sayo: The Sayo who you knew no longer exists. Everyone calls me Great Priestess Bishum.
      Tsukasa: Bishum?
Nobuhiko: You are too lax to sit on this throne... I am better suited to be the king of creation! We put up with you for the Rider Battle, but your use to us has ended. Get lost!

    • Natsumi: We were tricked weren't we?
Yuusuke: The goal of Tsukasa's journey... was so he could crush the Riders! We helped him do it!
Natsumi: But... why go so far to do that!?

    • Natsumi: Decade... he really is the one who will destroy all Riders!?
Tsukasa: Creation cannot begin without destruction. This is the path I have chosen.

    • Tsukasa: You guys did a good job. Let me compliment you.
      Yuusuke: What?
Hell: You helped crush the Riders.
Shinigami: Natsumi also did well. You found the Great Leader's lost Decadriver.
Natsumi: The buckle from that time was...
Tsukasa: In the midst of my journey to subjugate the Riders, I lost it along with my memories.
      Yuusuke: Subjugate the Riders!?
Tsukasa: It's to save the worlds from destruction.
Natsumi: If Decade won, all the worlds would be saved. That's true, right?
Tsukasa: You've got the gist of it.

    • Tsukasa: It is our fate... that we will one day fight.
Yuusuke: When that time comes... I will beat you.

    • Tsukasa: My journey? My goal? Who am I? What am I?

    • Tsukasa: (watching buildings disappear) A destructive phenomenon is occurring in this world too!?
Nobuhiko: Yes. It is because the worlds are trying to become one. On each of the worlds, a seperate Kamen Rider was born. But now, the Riders' powers are drawn to each other and are trying to become one world. If that happens... all the worlds will be destroyed.
Tsukasa: How can the worlds be saved!?
Nobuhiko: There is only one way to stop the worlds from being destroyed. We must decide on the strongest Rider. One single one.
      Yuusuke: Is that possible?
Nobuhiko: Thanks to Tsukasa travelling through the worlds, he created bridges that connect the worlds, making it possible.
Natsumi: Bridges that connect the worlds?
Nobuhiko: Tsukasa's journey's goal is to create those bridges and decide the strongest Rider.

    • Tsukasa: Are our parents here too?
Sayo: Father and Mother... ten years ago... died. And, one year ago... (remembers Tsukasa leaving home) But... you didn't come back, brother. Not in all that time.

    • Yuusuke: I suppose telling you this won't bring you any comfort, but Tsukasa has lost all of his memories.
      Sayo: His memories?
Natsumi: So you're not the only thing he's forgotten, Sayo.
Sayo: Brother... Why did that happen to him?
      Tsukasa: I don't know.

    • Sayo: Brother! You've come back! Brother! (hugs Tsukasa) Brother!
Tsukasa: Am I your older brother?
Sayo: Yeah. Why would you ask that?

    • Tsukasa: (looking at the house in the picture portal) I know this house. That's not all... the garden scene and the nearby bridge too...

    • Tsukasa: (putting his photos down on the table) Take a look. They're photos I took of this world.
      Natsumi: More poor photos?
Yuusuke: Let's take a look. (picks up the photos) How rare. They're taken properly!
      Tsukasa: Of course.
Natsumi: So could that mean... this place is Tsukasa's world?

    • Narrator: The Rider Battle starts at last! All Riders will fight to decide the strongest Rider.

  • NOTES (33)

    • The three Kamen Riders that Decade transforms into, Hibiki, Kabuto and Faiz, are the same three Riders that he transformed into in the first episode.

    • Shoichi Tsugami/Kamen Rider Agito is played by Toshiki Kashu here, the actor who played the character in Kamen Rider Agito. Satoshi Yamanaka played Agito as Shoichi Ashikawa in the Agito's World arc of Decade, suggesting that the Agito seen here is the 'real' one from our world and the one seen in Agito. This is probably true of the other Riders too although the only others seen out of their Rider suits are Kotaro Minami/Kamen Rider Black RX and Momotaros/Kamen Rider Den-O, both of which were played by the same actors in their series and in Decade.

    • The Kamen Rider Ohja here can clearly exist and fight outside of the mirror world, something his Kamen Rider Ryuki counterpart could not do.

    • The way the buildings disappear is similar to how structures erased from time by the Imagin vanished in Kamen Rider Den-O.

    • Tsukasa watches 20 worlds in the sky above the Dai Shocker castle, meaning there are at least 21 worlds including Decade/Dai Shocker's World. Eighteen of these have been visited by Tsukasa during the series.

    • As both Kamen Riders Diend and IXA take part in the Rider Battle, presumably all Riders, not just the main Showa and Heisei series Riders, were also involved.

    • Nobuhiko mentions that it is Tsukasa's passage through the worlds that has created the various rifts between them which persons such as Narutaki have been using, although how Narutaki is able to access them at will and how he knows where they are is unknown.

    • Nobuhiko suggests that the worlds are being drawn together due to the presence of Riders on each of them. The worlds are merging due to the Riders' powers trying to become one. This may explain the existance of Decade and the powers he has; an attempt to merge the Rider's powers another way, although the presence of Showa era Riders on the Worlds would render Decade only partially effective as he is unable to acquire their powers as he did with the Heisei Riders.

    • Tsukasa has apparently always had the ability to cross between the worlds, having first done so when he was a child.

    • Daiki confirms that the Diendriver, like the Decadriver, originated with Dai Shocker.

      Kamen Rider Raia.

    • This is the first time that Decade has transformed into Hibiki since he first found the Decadriver in Episode 1. Hibiki is the only Heisei Rider he did not use in the series after acquiring the power.

    • It is revealed that Tsukasa was the Great Leader of Dai Shocker. He had the Decadriver built in order to prevent the collapse of the other worlds and allow Dai Shocker to control them.

    • It is unknown if Tsukasa also had the Diendriver built at some point in his past, possibly as a companion system to the Decadriver. The Diendriver would end up on Diend's World where it would be stolen by Daiki.

    • It is not explained how Tsukasa came to be suffering from amnesia on Natsumi's World at the start of the series.

    • On this world, Tsukasa's photos develop properly, indicating that this is his world. However, this has happened before on Nega World.

    • When fighting Kamen Riders Ohja and Kick Hopper, Daiki summons Punch Hopper, an ally of Kick Hopper in Kamen Rider Kabuto and Gai and Raia who were both killed by Ohja in Kamen Rider Ryuki.

    • Daiki/Diend still possesses the Blade Final Ride card.
