Kangaroo Creek Gang is an Australian animated children's cartoon series. It was written by Robert Greenberg and produced by Southern Star Group. The series was first screened on Nine Network, an Australian commercial television network, in 2002, and each episode teaches children the importance of sound moral and educational values. The cartoon follows the adventures of a gang of Australian bush animals living in Kangaroo Creek, including a kangaroo, an emu, a possum, a magpie, an echidna, a koala, a kookaburra, a platypus, a wombat and a tigersnake. The gang members are all good friends, but there is still some rivalry between them. The gang also has regular run-ins with a group of feral cats who live in a nearby dump. Fortunately, the group's leader, a 9-year-old Kangaroo called Kevin (Andrew Crabbe), tries his best to minimize any conflict, as he is desperate to make his home environment a peaceful place to live.
