  • There back! after 3 years the foxy ladies of fountain gate are eback!

Its great to see kath and kim back, its been a long wait for all fans, and i couldnt be more chuffed to have back on screen!

The first episode was really good. Kath and kel are still going strong, sharon still has her sport and is a bit desperatley lonely, and kim and brett, are amazingly still together! this episode saw everyone going on holiday to queensland together, even though it was meant to be a romantic holiday kim and brett!

the scenes before the holiday were the funniest. Especially shopping for bathers for kim. Kaths comments about kimmys weight were brilliant and hilariously funny, for instance

kim:Aw i loook like kate moss!

Kath:yeh.. actually you have a bit of kate moss sticking out there kim!

was great watching! thank god the girls decided to come back!moreless
  • Don't like what they've done to title music? It sounded heaps better when on ABC - they've made it go faster, changed the rhythm. Why are actors talking so fast you can't understand them. On ABC everything was clearmoreless

Well, to be honest the first episode of S4 had some very funny bits in. Distractions were the new title music - the rhythm has been changed - it's quite painful to listen to now, and secondly, I find it's difficult to understand what Kath Day Night is saying at times - this wasn't a problem when they were on the ABC. Finally, this show doesn't work well with ads which has forced me to get bittorent versions of the show and burn to DVD - believe me I'd rather watch it, but the commercials are too annoying.

Overall maybe a 7/10. A lot of the magic isn't there anymore now that they've gone commercial. I just hope the Chaser team don't leave the ABC.moreless
  • Kath & Kim returns with a new episodes from a new series on a new network.

I was so excited when I heard Kath and Kim were coming back. At first, I was so sure about it. I was disappointed by Da Kath and Kim Code, and I started to think that the show had gone stale.

But this episode proved me wrong! I think a lot of people may not give this episode the credit it deserves. As the heavy advertisement caused major anticipation within Australia, many people may have been let-down by this episode, thinking that something majorly hilarious was going to happen.

And yes, it is a bit of a let-down, because we haven't had any Kath & Kim for a few years, and after all the excitement, we've only had a 23 minute segment of them - but episode is still nontheless hilarious.

The best scene was probably the one with Sharon, Kath and Kim in 'Dotti' (a shop in Southland), where Kim is trying on bathers and clothes that REALLY do not suit her build. The snide remarks Kath makes about Kim's appareance are hilarious, and sent me into fits of laughter.

Overall, the episode is pretty enjoyable. Except for a few not-so-funny scenes, the episode makes a killer comeback. My Rating: 8.3 out of 10moreless
