Kathy decides to take a trip to Australia! She performs on one of the first pink flights - a plane consisting mainly of gays and drag queens as passengers. The flight is a whopping fourteen hours, so Kathy finds it difficult to put on her game face for the breakfast service, especially after finding out that while performing over the P.A. system, very few of the passengers can actually see her.
Upon her arrival, Kathy quickly jumps at the chance to promote her upcoming show, as well as My Life on the D-Listwith the Aussie press; she finds that unlike the American press, they are less uptight about religion and Kathy's general sense of humor.
Kathy gets to hang out with Lance Bass, who has traveled for Mardi Gras and for Kathy's show! They meet a koala bear, which Kathy promptly tries - and fails - to buy.
Later on, Kathy gets to be very A-list when she meets the one and only Olivia Newton-John! The beautiful, former pink lady is aglow with youthful loveliness, and she is gracious as well as remarkably un-shockable!
Finally, it's time for Kathy's show, and of course the Australians love her almost as much as the American gays. But when the time comes for Kathy to be afloat for Mardi Gras, she can't even make it onto a float. Never one to turn down the opportunity to get in the press, Kathy desperately float hops until someone keeps her from going any further. When on the D-list and in a foreign country, Kathy maintains that she will do anything and everything to get some attention.
