To kick off season two, Kathy announces that her life is "in the crapper." She and Matt have decided to get a divorce, their dog Captain was hit and killed by a car, and their new dog Pom Pom promptly chewed Kathy's custom-made sofa to pieces.
Plunging bravely ahead, Kathy starts the second season on a mission to raise money; she attempts to sell memorabilia on eBay, but when the items don't garner the interest she needs, she decides to auction off a weekend with her to come stay at her house. To promote this idea, she makes an appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, where he threatens to bid on the weekend and then find the craziest homeless people he can and give the weekend over to them!
Kathy's next stop is Tyra, where she becomes nervous when the producers say that Tyra Banks wants to confront Kathy about a joke in Kathy's standup. Fortunately, Tyra is a great sport and the show goes off without a hitch!
Less fortunately, the day arrives when eBay has to reveal who won the auction - and it turns out Kathy makes far less money than she originally thought because the first forty bidders backed out of the deal. Kathy sighs glumly and realizes that this is yet another situation that Nicole Kidman would probably never have to handle.
